The Haunting

Chapter 9

              I couldn't breathe my best friend was dead and so were all of my class mates. It was like they were all just zombies and then poof they died. I didn't know what to do especially since I was all alone. I decided to take the bus keys and drive to the nearest police station, even though I didn't have my drivers license. 

"I have to, I have no other option" I said a loud as if someone could here me.

   It was a very long drive I was crying the entire way, I've known Alex my entire life she was always there for me when I needed her. 

When I finally arrived to the police station I told them everything that has happened. They obviously don't believe me, who would?

 "I'm telling you its the truth." I say staring into his eyes.

"If you show me I will believe you." He said looking back.

"Fine." I say while I start to stand up and head for the bus.

"No, we're going to be taking my car." He says grabbing his keys.

 We get into the police car, he doesn't turn on the sirens. I was kinda hoping he would. I lead him in the direction of where this all happened.  We arrived 30 minutes later the sun was shining and everything looked normal.

"There's nothing here, is this a prank?" He asks looking in my direction.

"W-what n-n-no they were j-just here." I say looking back at him confused and scared as ever.

"Yea, okay, how am I supposed to believe you?"

"I'm not lying, I swear." I say while glaring into his eyes.

"Fine lets check around for anything."  He says getting out of the car.

   We walk out of the car and look around for the bodies. They were no where to be found.

"This is your one and only warning, one more time and I will have to report you.  This is a very serious situation." He says in a very angry voice.

"I'm sorry." I say staring at the ground while twit tiling with my thumbs.

We walk back to the car and he drives me back to my house. It was actually around 4:00pm. I head straight to my mom and I tell her everything she obviously doesn't believe me, but she let me stay home tomorrow. 

"My field trip was  so awesome!" Miya comes rushing into my room.

"Awesome, I don't care." I say rolling my eyes.

" I made a new friend!!! Her name is Abby." She jumps and down with excitement. 

  Miya never really had any friends, so I was shocked  when she told me she made a new friend.

"She has really blond hair, almost white, she has big blue eyes to." She says with great enthusiasm.

"Wait really? What was she wearing?" I ask as she sounds very familiar.

"Oh um a green baggy shirt, black jeans, and combat boots." She says confused.

"OH MY, okay, okay." My heart was racing and I could barely breathe.

"WHAT, WHAT??" Miya asks.

"Um it's nothing important." I reply back this time very calmly.

"Oh okay, well um bye I guess." She says turning around and heading to her bedroom.

"I can't tell anyone about this, only Megan knows, and of course Alex but she's um I don't know." I whisper to myself so no one can here me.

Okay so this chapter was short chapter but I thought this was a good chapter.
