I walked down the street sluggishly. It was late as I had to work late meaning it was now dark. The street I was walking down didn't have many street lamps so that didn't help.
I was so tired from having to be at work so early then not getting home till 10.00pm. My boss Erwin loved to pile the work up on me forgetting that I'm still a human being like everybody else. Tsk.
I was too busy in my own little land that I didn't here a person running up behind me. They were running to fast and bumped straight into me. They fell back on their arse with a 'ouff' .
I turned round to see who had ran head on into me. I saw a young-ish boy - maybe in his twenties - with brown hair. That's pretty much all I could see in the darkness.
"Stupid brat. Watch where you're running." He mumbled to the boy. The brunette looked down.
"I'm really sorry. You see I was running because I'm scared of the dark." The boy whispered towards the end. Levi felt sorry for the poor boy.
Levi stretched out his hand, earning a confused look from him. I empathised my stretch hand. He slowly took my hand. I pulled him up.
He brushed the imaginary dust of his pants. He apologised once again. And then thanked me.
"Well, I need to go. So bye. Hopefully i see you again." He already began walking away, waving behind him before running away.
I almost smiled to myself before walking off back home.
