I woke up. The October wind blew through the window. I got up and closed it and looked at my clock. 5:49. I threw on a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt and walked to the kitchen. My grandma was in the chair watching the news.

"Need anything grandma?" I asked. She smiled and shook her head. I put four pieces of bread in the toaster. 2 for me and 2 for my 12 year old sister, Coral. I mine as we'll introduce myself. My name is Sapphire Adams. The year is 4255. I am 16. I also live in Tiger City. These times are a lot like yours. There are states just as you have. All towns and cities are named after and animal that represents them. Ours is the tiger. Don't ask I didn't make it up. Second l, capture the flag is a major sport. I am on my schools team. In fact I am the best. My parents died 2 years ago by a train. I also have never ever cried my entire life.

Coral came out of her bedroom as the toast popped up. I served it for her and me and we are quickly and got ready for school. Today was really important. I had my last capture the flag match today against Dolphin Town to see who would advance to state finals. I am the most nervous person in the school.
