"Nashi! You get back here right now missy!"
Natsu and Lucy corralled their three year old, pink haired daughter, who kept rushing around Gray and Juvia's shared house wildly.
"Are you absolutely sure you can handle her?" Lucy asked nervously, as Natsu picked up the over-excited child. "She's a handful. Maybe Natsu and I shouldn-"
"No, no, no, don't worry Lucy." Juvia assured Lucy, waving her hand. "You and Natsu go have fun. Besides, it's only a day and a half." Gray nodded pleasantly, holding his wife's hand.
"Alright..." Lucy smiled lightly, before leaning over and whispering so only Juvia could hear. "Besides, it'll be good practice for you and Gray when you..."
"Lucy!" Juvia snapped through gritted teeth, her face growing red.
Lucy chuckled lightly, "Alright. If you guys are absolutely sure you can handle her..."
"Just go, have fun." Gray smirked, and covered Nashi's ears, "But not too much fun, I don't want another kid to babysit next time, okay?" He released the pink haired child, who immediately began rushing wildly around the house again.
"Alright.. Let's go." Lucy sighed worryingly, turning around to leave with Natsu at her side.
Gray shut the door, locking it behind them. "We better lock the door to keep this one contained. Who knows what will happen if she gets out."
"You talk about her as if she's a pet." Juvia scoffed playfully.
"Well if she comes from Natsu, she might as well be." Gray joked.
"Stop it." Juvia whacked him gently on the arm, before planting a kiss on his cheek and walking into the living room. "Nashi!" She called to the girl, who immediately rushed in with a small Gray doll in her hand.
"What's this?" Nashi asked, examining the doll carefully, "It kinda looks like-"
Juvia quickly took the doll away, her cheeks tinted pink, "How about we sit down, and I tell you a few stories? Does that sound fun?" She asked sweetly, taking the chance to put the Gray doll up on a high shelf.
"Sure I guess." Nashi shrugged. Juvia and the girl sat down on the couch, and the Water Mage began to tell stories. She told her about the adventures she had experienced with Gray, Natsu, Lucy and all the other wizards at Fairy Tail, while Gray took turned on some music for them to enjoy while they did so. Nashi listened intently... For about forty-five minutes at least. After that, she began to squirm, and started to complain about being hungry. Gray fixed some dinner, and Nashi, who had inherited Natsu's monster appetite, ate most of it herself.
After Dinner, Gray took Nashi into their yard to play some games. She really enjoyed playing catch, but would often get distracted by bugs or flowers she found, like most kids do. While they were playing, Juvia took her chance to take a shower. Afterwards, the bluenette stepped outside, wrapped in a towel. "Nashi! It's bath-time!"
The Pink-haired child let out a distressed squeak, before taking off down the sidewalk. "Nashi! Come back!" Juvia called, before frowning and crossing her arms. "Go after her, my beloved."
"Why don't yo-" Gray began, as Juvia gestured towards her towel, "Alright, fine." The Ice Mage sighed, before chasing the child in the direction she went. Juvia went into the house to run the bath water, and waited patiently until Gray returned, holding the struggling child.
"No! I don't want a bath! You can't make me!" The child thrashed around as Juvia carefully removed Nashi's clothes, and Gray placed her into the water. She splashed water into the air wildly, and Gray sighed.
"You got this from here?" He asked, annoyed. Juvia nodded, holding Nashi's shoulder with one hand and washing her pink hair with the other. After twitching and struggling a bit, Nashi finally gave up, allowing Juvia to finish fairly quickly. After taking her out and drying her off, Juvia let Nashi back out into the house to play. The exhausted Water Mage dragged herself into the living room, plopping herself down onto the couch where Gray sat, watching the screen of a Television Lacrama.
"Where did Nashi-" Juvia started to speak, before a loud crash echoed through the house. Juvia and Gray burst up, running into the dining room. Nashi stood in front of a high shelf, looking down at a smashed flower pot at her feet.
"I'm sorry." Nashi said in a quiet, innocent voice, "I was just trying t-" She hiccuped, little tears brimming in her eyes, "To reach a few of the tiny dolls up there that look like Uncle Gray." She pointed up at the tiny sewn Dolls on the high shelf. Juvia's expression grew sympathetic.
"Shhhhh..." Juvia bent down, placing her hands on Nashi's shoulders and smiling warmly, "Don't cry, sweetheart. It's about time for bed, so why don't we go get you some milk?" Nashi rubbed her eyes and nodded, taking the Water Wizard's hand and following her into the kitchen. After getting her milk, Nashi and Juvia went into the guest bedroom. As Juvia tucked her into the bed, she handed Nashi one of the Gray dolls to sleep with, which pleased her. Juvia turned off the lights in the room, and made her way into her dark bedroom, where Gray was already.
Juvia sighed loudly and collapsed on the bed, and Gray smirked, "You know, you sure would make a great mother." He told her, and she looked up at him and chuckled lightly, blushing lightly.
"You think so?" She asked, scooting up to lay beside him.
"Yes." Gray looked at her with a serious expression. "But just to be clear, we are never having kids."
Juvia scratched the back of her head, a light smile on her face, "Well... The thing is..."
"You're joking." Gray took a minute to understand what she had just told him, "You're not?" She nodded awkwardly, her eyes shining with disappointment at his reaction to her news. Just as tears began to slip out of her eyes, Gray enveloped her in a tight hug, pulling her head close to his chest. She felt him smile against her as he spoke. "We're gonna be parents. I can't believe it!"
"I thought you were upset?" Juvia grinned, wiping away her tears.
"Upset?" He pulled her in front of him, looking into her eyes with a bright, joyful expression, "With you? Never." Gray smiled and brought his lips to meet hers.

Sorry for the slow updates. I'm really tired after school most days, so it's hard to keep up a regular update schedule. If you suggested an idea last time, don't worry, those are on the way, but I decided to finish this one first. How did you like it? Liking my one-shots so far? Is there another Fairy Tail ship you want to see a one-shot book made for?
