Chapter 22: Hashtags

Sally:

Me and Alexis are chilling in bed and I'm scrolling through my phone. Twitter is actually interesting today.

Alexis is tweeting random shit. I gave up on her a while ago.

"Babe?" Alexis asked

"Yeah?" I glanced at her.

She was frowning at me and I looked at her confused. She sighed and leaned over pecking my lips.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you too but you're confusing me."

"Baby your in a hashtag."

"What? A hashtag? What hashtag?" I panicked.

"#AlexisDoesNotLoveSally." She mumbled.

"What the hell!?" I grabbed my phone and checked out the hashtag.

I saw photos of Alexis and one of her friends. They are friends right? I mean they are close and things, but she loves me right?

"Babe! Don't listen to them. They are wrong." She pulls my phone off me.

"Are they right?" I mumbled.

"What!? No! I love you forever and ever!" She cups my cheeks.

"But even Y/N tweeted and my friends..."

"You believe her more than me?"

I shook my head.

"I know this is hard for you but I'm in love with you only. Oh and maybe food but you know, close competition." She tries to cheer me up.

"I know." I sigh.

"Right. Today we are gonna film a video." She stated getting her camara.

"Okay." I sigh again.

She spent the next ten minutes setting up. I didn't move from my spot. Alexis rushed around me then threw me her shirt.

"Put it on babe. You're only wearing a sports bra." I nodded and put it on.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

She sat next to me and clicked play. She did her intro as usual then began talking. I zoned out completely and thought.

Who started it?
Why was Y/N getting involved?
Why were my friends?
Did Alexis actually cheat?
Do I love her?
Do I still love Y/N?
Can I still love her?
Am I too late?

"Babe?" Alexis called me.

"Yes?" I looked at her.

"You wanna add anything?" I shook my head.

"Alright." She kissed my head mumbling against it.

I nodded and moved up on her bed. I laid there tapping my phone. I didn't know what to do. Alexis kept glancing at me, scared I was gonna cry or breakdown.

"Babe?" She asks.

"Yes?" I looked at her.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too."

"Alright. That's the end of the video this week. Please, don't get involved in all of this. Spread peace." She turnedher camara off.

She crawled on the bed, having her laptop and items to edit. She started editing next to me. She held my hand and edited using one hand.

I think I fell asleep because I woke up to screaming and laughing. I sat up not having Alexis near me. Crawling out of bed I heard a lot of laughing.

I knew I was gwtting hungry so I went to the kitchen and made a sandwich. I noticed that there were a pile of balloons building up. I shrugged it off.

A while later I sat on the counter top laughing at Alexis playing in the balloons. I giggled and she kept looking at me smiling. She knew I was happy.

"That's the smile I love." She says as she runs out grabbing a stranger.
