Temptations (Liam Payne Fan Fiction)

Prologue

     Everything seemed to go by slow. It was like, time was frozen. Where the clocks didn't move because it was the last class of the day and you we're just ready to go home. Everything was isolated.

I tapped my pencil between my fingers. I was actually in the middle of a test. I couldn't help but to look outside and watch the snow fall. Just the thought that we were so close to being on break. I couldn't be more excited. Sleeping in, staying up late, no homework, no studying, just peace.

It was a week before Christmas. We had a 3-week vacation. And right before Christmas break, we have exams. They're important, but not as important as the finals in May. And those finals could change my life! Since I was little, I have been dreaming about going to Julliard in New York City. I have always been on top of my grades. I'm a straight A student. But I'm so interested in acting and playing the piano. They're my passion. I happen to be a senior. I don't focus on anything other than acting, piano, and my school work. My parents are very strict. So strict that I'm almost 18 and I've never had a true boyfriend. Now when I say, "true" I mean someone that makes me forget about everything else in the world. That nothing else matters. One that treats me well and doesn't take advantage of me.

"You have 10 minutes reamining on the test." The teacher called out. I glanced at my paper and saw that I only had 5 questions left, which wasn't bad. I finally finished and turned in my paper. Within 2 minutes, the bell rang and we were fianlly free. My friend, Kayla, found me and we headed over to our lockers.

"So I'm thinking we should so have a sleep over tonight!!" Kayla said. She was always up for those kinds of things. "No can do. I have to work amd then after that I'm going to finish up your guy's Christmas shopping. I looked at Kayla and then realized that Codi was missing.

"Oh my goodness!!! Did you guys hear?!" I looked over to see thje tall, long haired brunette running down the hallway with her phone in her hand.

"What's the big news?" I asked.

"One Direction is coming to London!!" She shrieked. Kayla began to freak out as well. I could careless. They were just 5 guys in a band. Nothing more, nothing less. I did enjoy their music. But I wasn't in love with them like all the other girls.

"Maybe we'll get to meet them!" Kayla said. I sure as heck won't be with them when that happens.

"It says right here that htey are finishing up their last concert tonight in Tokoyo and then thet are taking their Christmas break and then resume the tour back In February. Zayn and Perrie are still going strong, along with Louis and Eleanor. Liam is a single pringle." She said, elbowing me. I don't know why she did that. She knows that I don't like them.

"And Niall and Harry are single!!!" She said, once again shrieking. I'm pretty sure my ear drums were busted.

"Codi, how many times have we been over this? I only like their music. That's it." Codi sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Today is Friday right?" Kayla asked.

"Correct." I said.

"On New Year's in a couple of weeks, you girls come to my house. We'll have our owen little party and we'll go to the club downtown." Codi said, winking at us.

"Sounds good to me." Kayla said.

"Ummm......" I stuttered.

"C'mon Tatum! It will be lots of fun!"

                                                                 - Couple of weeks later-

~New Year's Ever~

           I drove over to Codi's flat. " I will not drink. That's disgusting!" I kept saying to myself. My parents knew I was coming over to Codi's tonight. They were having a date night, so they shouldn't find out what we will be doing. Right?
