TROYE SIVAN IS SIMON SNOW

"Alright, Troye?"
"Yes siree," Troye said, trying to use his best British accent. He already had an Australian accent, so it seems like it be super easy to do a British one. It's harder than you'd think. There were little things that just wouldn't go. (The elongation of certain words and the pronunciation of others were the most difficult assets to fix.) Troye's voice was pretty high, though. That was a plus. (Sort of.) Troye looked at Ezra. (His "boyfriend".)
"Okay, let's get this movie started!" The director yelled.
Well then, Troye thought to himself, nervously biting his lip. Ezra stalked past him, pecking his cheek. Troye managed a smile. He was genuinely happy to be starring in this movie. He had read the book a thousand times and fangirled over it about a million more. Troye had been told that he resembled Simon Snow, the main character, more than 5 million times. No hyperbole. (By family and by fans.) And now he was working with Ezra Miller who was playing Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch. (Or just Baz.)
They were starting the film off without Ezra, as the book starts off without Baz, but Ezra was there for Troye. Plus, this way they could get the parts off Simon's memory that had Baz in it now rather than later.
Troye positioned himself in front of the plexiglass box and started swiveling the pencil around the paper, pretending to write something down while the camera blinked red. He almost heard the sample voice over. His mind was somewhere else. Then he almost missed the end of the sample voice over. His head snapped up too quickly as he hastily shoved the papers through the little slot.
"He's from a―" The "office lady" was cut short by the director.
"Stop stop stop!!! Troye!" she snapped at him. "What are you doing?"
"Uh-" he stammered. "I, um- I just-"
"You really are the perfect Simon Snow," Reena The Director said to him. "Unfortunately, we need Troye and not Simon. Please, Troye. I have seen you act. Don't tell me I've got the wrong man."
"No, Reena. I can do it. I'm just a bit tired." Troye felt like he was assuring himself more than her.
"Good," she said. "You have to start sleeping at night. One more slip up and you're out of here." She always said that. 'One more slip up and you're out of here.' She hardly ever fired anyone, but Troye knew that you should never get on her bad side.
Troye may not have told Reena the whole truth. He wasn't known to lie, especially not to his boss. And, in the light of things, it wasn't a full lie. He didn't sleep much last night and he was very tired. But it just didn't feel right to tell Reena the whole truth. Mostly because she would get super mad at him. Troye and Ezra's relationship was political only. The producers of the Carry On: The Movie figured that the stars of the movie, who're in love in the book, should be in love for real. It always attracts more fangirls/boys. And the more people there are, the more money the movie gets. Unfortunately, Ezra seemed to want more than just a political relationship. He would try to kiss Troye's cheek and hold his hand when they weren't on set or in front of cameras. Troye put him in a lot of his YouTube videos, even did the official "Boyfriend Tag" with him.
Saddly, Troye disagreed. Well, not exactly. Ezra was cute and funny and nice, but this other boy... Troye just couldn't get him out of his head.
