~ Dillon's Point of View ~
"Dill? Dill!" I heard in my sleep but for some reason I couldn't respond to it. I couldn't open my eyes no matter how hard I had tried. It was very difficult. "Dillon!"
My eyes finally shot open as I shot up in the bed with cold sweat rolling down my face. I connect eyes with my oldest brother. There was worry and concern laced in his eyes until he noticed I was okay. He slouches back as he let's out a breath of relief.
"You wouldn't wake up."
"Sorry, I'm fine," I get up from the bed that I claim as my own while we still have this safe house we found. Dean only knits his brows as he follows me out of the room. I wasn't about to talk - I never do so why is he gonna try. . .again? "Don't even try, big bro. Have I ever talked? No, so don't.try," I bop his nose as I spoke the last two words. He yanks back as he shakes his head with two little sniffles.
"Well, Sammy has a case. It involves a good role of under cover. We may be the same roles for a couple days, maybe weeks," Dean explains the outlining of the case. He was attempting to get my attention with it. I like going undercover.
"Continue," I tell him as I take a bite of an apple that was in the small fruit bowl Sam had picked up.
"Well, the case is at one of those festivals with the gypsies and the sideshow acts with the psychics that try to get people's attention. I can't think of something to compare - "
" - Like The Immaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?"
"Yes, exactly like that. Sam and I want you to be a gypsie and I'll be apart of the act. Sam will kind of. . .own it, I guess. We just remembered how when we played around as kids to waste time with dad being gone you would be a gypsie in some of the stuff we'd do. We thought, why not give her the chance, ya know?"
"Sounds great." I smile as I go to the fridge in search of some pie. Yes, I maybe twins with Sam but in some ways I was more like Dean than anything. We always questioned - playfully - how I could be Sam's twin.
I grab one of the two slices that were left before leaving Dean there and making my way to the library where I had research going on in there. I had a map laid out on the table that I was writing certain things on and pin pointing information. Let me explain why.
Lately there have been some weird things going on and it's making this pattern type thing on the map as I pinpoint locations. Sam and Dean tell me to stop worrying about it but I know better. I'm John Winchester's daughter. If something seems weird then I'm gonna check it out. Speaking of dad.
"Hey, Dean?" I call out from the library as I slowly take the pie off the fork with my teeth. He appears in the doorway of the library and I could've sworn I seen some type of look flash through his eyes as he made contact with the map I was sitting in front of. He looks into my hazel eyes as if asking what it was I needed. "Have you heard from dad?"
"No, haven't talked to him since the day he left. Don't think Sammy has either."
I purse my lips before continuing to eat my pie and looking at the map. I was gonna do something to it but that was until Sam entered the room and Dean told him of me wanting to do the case. We got on the road not even an hour after that.
And that was this morning's events nearly four hours ago. As of now I was sitting in the back of the Impala listening to the music that Dean had turned way up which was "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas. I was singing along quietly and what had interrupted me was my phone vibrating violently in my lap.
