The unsetting sun

He whispered to his self that the time explains into why everyone was inside his room, waking him up. He told the others to wait outside his room for a little while he just get his things ready.

After a few minutes Allen came out of the room and was greeted by Kanda's angry and shouting voice telling him that he was as slow as a snail crawling, calling him a beansprout again.

They started to argue again and that made the people around them look at them with strange looks. The people started to whisper many things about the two that made Lenalee embarrass and stop the two by yelling at them.

"Let's go"  Bookman said as he starts to walk and the others following behind him.

The walked until the next town, which is a few miles away from where they stopped the night, only resting for a few minutes for drinking, eating, sleeping and checking the map if they were in the right direction.

After a few days, maybe 4 to 5 days, they arrived at the next town they planned to stop for a few days. And the exorcists already felt something strange in the town.

The sun was still in the middle of setting. They checked the time and knew that it was already 8 in the night and the town was still bright with no signs of the sun moving further down to set.

They asked every person they see about the town and every one of them answered the same thing. That the night stopped coming to the town a year ago. That this town was formerly known for its beautiful sunset and stars. No one knows why the night suddenly stopped coming. They just noticed that the sun was not moving after it reached the peak of the tallest mountain in the town. And only in this town.

"It happened a year ago after a new family moved to this town." girl around 10 years old suddenly appeared and started to explain the exorcists' question. 

"2 months after they moved to the big house, an earthquake occurred. And then the mother and brother died. Only the sister and the father was left. After the funeral, the sun never left this town. And only this town." The girl finished explaining.

She looked at each of the exorcists and gave them each a big and happy smile. The exorcists were all feeling a bit awkward with the little girl and when the little girl noticed it, she introduced herself as Ana.

Another silence, and the little girl called Ana told the exorcists that she lives in the pink roofed inn, as she points straightly towards the north.

Allen and the others followed to where Ana was pointing as saw a large inn that have pink roof. And also probably the last building to stand in the town since it was the only building seen at the place while at the back of it, was surrounded by nothing but mountains and forest.

Ana asked the exorcists if they were searching for a place to stay and when Lenalee nodded at her, she gladly told the exorcists that there are empty rooms in their inn.

They followed the girl towards their house. And when they opened the door, they were welcomed by a warm smile by a beautiful young lady with dark brown hair in a bun.

"Welcome to Florrik's inn" the young lady with dark brown hair welcomed them.

Ana ran towards the inn's landlady, calling the young lady older sister and then gave the young lady a hug before telling her that she brought costumers.

Ana's sister then told her to wait for a moment and then started to serve them. Welcoming them seven exorcists to their in and asking them how many rooms they will rent.

The exorcists rented up 2 rooms in all, one a regular room with two beds, where Miranda and Lenalee will sleep, while the other one a large room with 5 beds, where the boys will sleep together.

Ana's older sister told her to guide the exorcists to the rooms and gave the key to her, telling that she has something important to do and left, after apologizing to the exorcists.

They followed Ana, who was pulling Lenalee's hand, happily. Ana stopped walking and then she opened the room 102's door and went in, giving them the keys and telling them that the other room is just beside the room they are in right now.

Lenalee then thanked Ana and then hesitatingly asked Ana about the story of the town's sudden lost of the night. Ana smiled widely and told them all to sit down the couch and she will tell them the whole story that she knows.

"A month after they moved, the family, without the daughter would always shop and buy an accessory to Jurel's jewelry shop. But then one day, the mother went inside angrily. She shouted at the owner about many things. She was then followed by her husband who also shouted at the owner, throwing some jewelries to his face" Ana started to continue the story of their town from a year ago, when the town was still normal and peaceful like any other towns.

"A few minutes later, a cart came running. A girl went out of the cart and went inside the shop, pulling the hands of the couple" she added.

"Was she the family's daughter?" Krory asked, cutting in the middle of the story.

And Ana answered him with a serious 'yes'. She then continued to tell them the story telling them that the daughter was named Analote and she went in the store, following her parents to stop them from doing anything to the shop owner.

But the girl's parents didn't listen to her. Only after she yelled something to them that they stopped and apologized to the owner and after that, they went home. And then the next day we she saw the three of the family again going shopping without the daughter.

2 days after incident, a really strong earthquake occurred and Analote's brother and mother lost their lives because of the earthquake.
