Poke.Poke.Poke. I rolled over, hoping that Rhianna would learn that I didn't want to wake up. A few seconds past where the poking stopped. I sighed and wiggled my head deeper into the pillow to become comfortable again. I love sleep...
Poke.
"Rhianna. I don't know what time it is and I don't really care. Stop poking me and let me sleep." I grumbled to her. I hear her sigh and the bed bounce around a bit as she moved around. I'm guessing she got up.
Poke.
I grabbed the pillow from under my head and threw it at her. It hit her square in the face which was a nice sight to wake up to in the morning. I pushed myself up slowly from the bed and sat into a sitting position. It was clear I wasn't getting anymore sleep with this girl around. Maybe I could trick her like a dog where you throw the bone out the door, they run out the room, and then you close the door behind them. I looked up at Rhianna. What would make her run out the room?
"What are you doing Tiff?" She asked me. I scanned the room and found her phone on the bedside table. I looked back and forth from the phone to her. She gave me a strange look before she finally caught on. She made a run for it but I beat her to it as I was right next to the phone. I grabbed the phone and stood up on the bad.
"Stop running or I'll do it." I snapped. I help the phone above my head to show her I would really do it. She stopped dead in her track and help her hands like a criminal caught in the act.
"Tiffany, there musty be a way around this. Let's not be drastic." She said carefully. He eyes stayed on the phone the whole time. I looked at the time on the phone. It was 9:00 am. She woke me up at 9:00am on a weekend? Was she asking for a death wish? I knew what I had to do. I threw the phone out of my bedroom door. I turned back to Rhianna, waiting for her to go running. She was staring at the door shocked.
"That was my Iphone!" She said in disbelief.
"I forgot to check what type of phone it was. MAYBE it's because SOMEONE woke me up at 9:00am on a Saturday!" I snapped. She sent a glare my way before running out the door as I planned. I jumped down from my bed a slammed the door as quick as possible. I locked the door just as Rhianna pounded on the door.
"Tiffany! Why isn't the door opening?" She asked. I rolled my eyes.
"Why do you think it's not opening. I locked it you dumbass." I said sarcastically. I ignored her pounding on the door and walked over to my luscious double bed. I flopped onto it and crawled back under the covers and into warmth. After a while her constant pounding calmed down and I caught a few more hours of much needed sleep.
After I woke up for the second time today I went downstairs to get some breakfast. I was starving! I could already hear my dad and Rhianna talking. That was another thing Rhianna and I had in common. We didn't have both our parents. Well, she didn't have both of her parents. I just didn't have my mum. She left when I was little. I didn't really remember her well. But from what I've heard from my dad I wouldn't of liked her. She was a horrible woman apparently. She cheated on my dad so he threw he out the house. Good choice if you ask me.
"Good morning everyone." I said cheerfully as I kissed my dad on the cheek. He was sitting at the kitchen table with Rhianna. I walked over to the toaster and popped some bread in. I turned back to them, receiving glares from Rhianna.
"Whats up with you?" I asked her. She picked up her phone and wiggled it around. Oh yea. I cant believe that worked. I had my doubts but it still worked.
"Your lucky it didn't break." She said. I smiled at her and wrapped my arms her from behind.
"I'm sorry." I said in a baby voice. She tried to shrug me of but I had a tight grip on her. She gave up and I could see her trying to hold back a smile. No one can stay mad at me for that long! It is virtually impossible.
"Why did you throw my phone out the room in the first place?" She asked. I paused trying to come up with something that sounder reasonable. Unlike saying I was trying to see if you did the same thing as a dog.
"I was just testing something..." I said. She raised her eyebrows at me. Think Tiffany think!
"If IPhone's were easy to break." I mentally had a mini party for coming up with a answer. I was on a roll considering it was the morning. Normally I don't wake up properly until the afternoon. I must be doing something different. Was it the shampoo?..
"Why would you suddenly want to know that when you just woke up?" She just had to end my mini brain party. Before I could up with a lame excuse my toast popped up from the toaster. Burnt bread saves the day. I skipped over to the toaster and fished out my toast.
There was a loud knock at the door. I turned to my dad to ask him to get it but he was already on his way out the room. As I was buttering my toast my dad came in with a small business looking woman following him in. I quickly finger brushed my hair trying not to look messy. I probably had some major bed head going on right now.
"This is Mrs.Pelts. A social worker, she needs to speak with Rhianna." My dad said. I shared a confused look with Rhianna. She stood up from her chair slowly and walked out the room with Mrs.Pelts following her. I put down my knife and tried to follow them out the room but my dad blocked my way out the door.
"Rhianna needs to do this alone Tiff." He said softly. I thought about it for a minute and nodded my head. He was right. Rhianna did need to do this alone. I would talk to her later about it anyways. I walked past my dad and walked up the stairs.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"To see the stranger that looks at girls shower!" I shouted back.
"WHAT?!" He shouted. I should really choose my words better.
"To find Ryan." I said before rushing upstairs to get ready.
