I woke up to a text from Kelly saying that she needed to see me as soon as I got to school. I was kinda worried but also still asleep so didn't give it much thought. That's when I realized that it was really quiet in my house. I walked down the stairs and saw the front door open and could see my dad talking to someone. I couldn't see who but they looked like they went to my school. Boy uniform...
Half scared out of my mind I walked upstairs and got my stuff together to take a shower. While in the shower I heard the door open and my dads voice. "Megan, Nate here is going to take you to school today, and he is going to wait here until your ready so don't come out half naked." Then he left without me even responding. This usually meant he was pissed. I was really scared now. I was afraid of how my dad was gonna act and how bad it would be. Once done and dressed I walked downstairs to see Nate and my dad laughing and my dad filling Nate's coffee cup. Nate stood up and loomed at me then a watch on his wrist. "Are you ready?" Asked my dad. "Yeah just gotta grab my bag."
"I'll wait for you in the car." Nate thanked my dad for the coffee and the laughs and left out the door. "He's not too half bad a guy. Anyways have a good day" he kissed my cheek and I walked to the car. I got in and put my bag in the backseat and got my seatbelt on when Nate started pulling out. "You look good this morning," he said keeping his eyes on the road.
"Oh come on I look horrible," I replied adjusting my bra and glancing at him.
"Okay sure you do." He said with a sarcastic nod and tone. I laughed and we got to getting to know each other. He seemed really nice and sensitive. But either way he was still a jock so I had to be careful.
School went by really slow, but I did get to know more of my friends and acquaintances more and that was just the best part. I really got to know Nate a lot more too. He seemed really sweet even for a jock. After school I went to Kelly's and we did our homework together. Then we talked. A lot of questions were asked but not all answered but I started feeling more comfortable with being at school. No one was mean and even the jocks and popular girls were nice. I was beggining to like this school.....
