~So I recently got back into drawing and plan on trying to major in art, but I'm still not 100%~
(Pffft this bitch did not go to college. I still draw but, I tried college had a breakdown after one semester and here we are.😂)Eliana walked down the broken streets of the broken city. She walked toward where the other guys stayed since they were the ones who always made the runs to other survivors who transferred the food stock between cities. As she walked down the streets, she passed a few alleyways walking close to the walls. A few feet in front of her a glass bottle is kicked out of an alley and it rolls off the side walk and into the middle of the street. She looks cautiously down the dark alleyway before slowly bending to try and be quieter. The wind blows slightly in the distance rustling her hair.
"Now what's a girl like you doing out here all alone?" A voice says as a man steps out of the darkness of the alley.
Eliana looks around and picks up a rock before standing quickly and chucking the stone into the alley narrowly missing the man's head and continuing in the direction she was going.
"Eliana, Where are you going?" The man scoffs slowly following after her.
Eliana cringes and sighs, "Greg, you're dumbass somehow got drunk so you might want to go home and sleep it off."
"What if I don't want to?" Greg says in a mocking tone before cocking his head to the side.
"I may not know where you got the alcohol but, I do know you will have one hell of a hangover in the morning," Eliana says continuing to walk away.
Greg just walks behind her.
Eliana rolls her eyes before coming to a stop and turning her head to the side not fully looking at him," Also know that after moon rise your body will be found because you decided to drink. Your reaction time is slower and you will be killed."
Greg shakes his head to get his bearings and sighs before walking in the other direction.
Eliana continues walking until she sees the door to the building that the guys are staying in. When she steps in she doesn't hear anything.
"Guys I'm here for pick-up," Eliana shouts.
She hears footsteps run toward her and she's tackled in a hug. Mason is the youngest he's in his early twenties with doe brown eyes and shaggy blonde hair to match his surfer's tan. Damien is the middle boy. He is in his late twenties and has hazel eyes with long shoulder length red hair with pale freckles skin. Jackson is the oldest he's in his mid-to-late thirties and he acts like the dad. He has blue eyes and wavy black hair to go with his dark complexion. There were more guys, but these were the only four the siblings seemed to interact with.
"How are you doing, Eli?" One of the boys, Mason, asks with a huge grin.
Eliana's eyes narrow, "One, don't touch me." She shoves him off grumbling. "Two, don't act like we're friends because we aren't. Three, that isn't my name." She brushes herself off.
"Boy, you've done it now," Another one of the boys, Jackson, says chuckling with his arms crossed.
"We all know she hates that nickname," The final boy, Damien, says shaking his head with a smirk.
"I'm just here for pick-up before moon rise," Eliana says narrowing her eyes a bit.
The boy's nod and Damien hands her a box.
"Food that should last about two weeks or so," Damien says.
"She should get going," Jackson says moving the curtain to the side and looking out the window.
"Did you guys remember the scent spray this time?" Eliana asks cautiously checking all the items.
Jackson nods once with a grim look on his face. The supply had been dwindling since the only person that knew how to make it was captured by the wolves. The researching people were doing their best with who was left. Eliana waves before turning and waiting for one of the boys to open the door.
Before she walks out she turns and says, "Oh and Greg is out there wandering drunk like an idiot. You guys might want to go get the dumbass before he gets killed."
Damien groans and the other boys roll their eyes before nodding. It was as if he does this all the time.
She laughs slightly before turning and leaving. The boys hover at the door watching her leave. They were more protective due to the fact she is the only female left, but not in the same sense her brother is. Cue eye roll... men.
As Eliana was walking down the street there's a howl in the distance, her eyes widen and she looks at the sky to see the moon peeking.
"Damnit," Eliana swears trying to pick up her pace.
She hears shuffling in the alley and turns with wide eyes only to see a raccoon digging through a trash can. She lets outs sigh and blows a piece of hair out of her face before continuing and picking up her pace. When she's within a few feet of the apartment door she hears feet crunching in the broken cement and huffing behind her, it takes her a few minutes to realize it was something running toward her. Eliana starts running as fast as she could with a box in her arms and the door to the apartment opens and her brother comes out with a shotgun. He shoots off a round in the distance. It echoes but she hears the crunching become more consistent. She swears under her breath trying to run faster without tripping and falling. Suddenly there's a growl and the sound of cloth ripping. The crunching turns into the scratching and pounding of four paws.
