"I need your advice" he says once we reach my bedroom and I shut the door
"What's up buttercup" I say and he smiles. My lord that smile makes me melt.

once those words come out of his mouth I swear to god you could hear my heart break in two
"What about this girl" I say and I can't help the sound of jealously slipping out of my mouth.
"Okey well here we go, I'm about to get all serious so heads up, so there's this absolutely stunning girl and I think I like her more than friends but she's way out of my league and probably only wants to be mates, I really want to ask her out, I've talked to her brother about it and everything but I don't know how to tell her I have feelings for her and your the best at giving advice so I thought I would ask you first" he finishes
I gulp down my last bit of jealousy and tuck it away at the back of my mind, I'm one of cals good friends so it's only fair to help him out even if it breaks my heart
"Well do what you do best" I say
He furrows his eyebrows together, "what on earth do you mean Devon" he laughs slightly

Chys pov
"What was that all about" I ask as me sam, Mikey, Luke and ash sit on the couch jamming out to some 1975, god I love this band.
"Calum likes devonnnn" ash chants and Michael cringes "shut up mate that's my sister" he says but he didn't deny it
I slap the couch and lean forward a bit in surprise
"NO WAY" I say loudly, I mean hey I only met them like what yesterday but they are really nice and "welcoming" so I think I'm gonna stick around
"Yeah cal told me the other day" mike says an I lean back smiling "well done Devon" I nod my head I approve land mike laughs at me "your a strange chick Chy, I like that" he looks down right after he says it as if he thought out loud
I ignore the blush creeping up onto my cheeks return to scrolling through my twitter feed.
Devon pov again
"Okay Dev thank you for the advice" he says excitedly, I bet he's got a great song planed for this girl and I bet it's gonna be full of passion and love and I will always just be the "friend" that never got a chance with the one she loves
I hold back tears as he walks outside my door towards the lounge but as soon as I hear the door click I just slide down the wall with tears pouring down my face
I don't even bother to wipe them away
I continue sobbing until I hear someone knocking on my door, "just a minute" I say and I quickly try my best to make my face look presentable for whoever is behind the door
"It's me and Chy" Sam says and I smile a bit before opening my door knowing that no matter how bad things are or how shit life gets, my girls will ALWAYS be there for me
