Chapter 3: Meet the Marshalls; part 1

A/n: Hey everyone. I am very sorry that I have not been updating because I was a bit distracted by school and private stuff, but I'm here to try to end this story because I have more ideas for more. So keep in touch with me. Enjoy!

The sun was finally set after Max and Monty had their brotherly embrace. They hear the door to Monty's room open, revealing a 17 year old girl in hot pink high heels, black sweatpants, long brown hair with amber highlights and a jean jacket with red tank top underneath.

"Will you two stop with that mushy stuff? It's bad enough that we had to move here." Said the girl

Monty's POV

"It was just a hug, Miranda." I said. That's my older sister Miranda, and she always gets on my nerves. Even sometimes she and Mitch make my life a big pain in the rear end. What does she wanna talk about with us?

"Like, whatever twerp. Anyway mom and dad are back and they're cooking supper for dinner. So gather everyone downstairs to eat soon. Byeeeeeee" Miranda said unkindly as she left. "Man, I'm so sick of her!" I said frustrated.

"Oh forget her, Monty. She's a dumb butt anyway." We both chuckled. "Come on, let's gather everyone up for dinner." Said Max. I nodded then left the room with him. Suddenly, a giant net came out of the other room snatching me and glued me to the wall. "HELP!! MAX!" I yelled. Max came to my rescue and tried to rip the net off me but no avail.

"I'll get a knife and cut you outta there!

"Hurry, please!" I said as Max left. But as soon as he was off to get a knife, the net started to electrocute me. "AAAAAHHHH!!!" I screamed. The net instantly ripped off of the wall making me fall to the floor, injured. I was almost knocked out. Max ran up to me to see if I was okay. Of course I was. Out of nowhere, a shadowy figure crept behind us tried to catch me. I gasped in fear only to meet 'someone' with weird looking science glasses, a lab coat, brown khakis and dress shoes. My older brother, Michael.

"Log date: 4-17-17 Time: 8:04. I seem to have caught a new specimen with supernatural abilities. Tell me, lifeform. What is your purpose here in this facility?" Michael said putting his tape recorder near my mouth. "My purpose here is to tell you to get some bandages, Michael!" I said annoyed. "Ugh, fine. You take the fun out of science, Monty." Michael said. "And you put the danger in it, bro." Said Max jumping in. Michael grabbed a first aid kit, got out little alcohol wipes and started to wipe the burns and scars on my arms, legs and face. It was really hurting me. "Ow!" I said in pain.

"Sorry." Michael apologized. Then Max was putting bandages on me. When they were done, I thanked them and hugged them both then hugged me back. "Oh Michael, it's almost time for dinner." I said reminding him "Thanks for telling me, I'll you both at dinner." Said Michael leaving to his room. "What time is it?" I asked.

"8:09." Max answered

"Oh! I have to take a pill at 8:10!"

"Well go on and take one. I'll tell the others dinner is getting ready soon."

"Thanks Max." I said as I ran to the bathroom.

Narrator's POV

As soon as Monty came out of the bathroom, he saw two more of his older sisters. The first one who was 16 had a blue and pink crop top with a jean jacket over it. She also had a pearl like necklace, pink sunglasses and she had a bit long curly black hair. The other one who was 15 also has black hair but in a ponytail and dyed in a lighter brown. She had glasses, a tan sweater with an orange shirt underneath and booty shorts. "Hey Monty!!" Said both girls.

"Hi Mary." Monty said to the 16 year old.

"Hey Mina." He said to the 15 year old.

"Monty, I need help. I can't find Molly and Mason Jr. (junior)I thought they were in their crib with Marco but they're gone!" Mina said panicked. "Oh no! We have to find them. Where was the last time you saw them?" Monty asked. "The last time I saw them was when I put them in their crib, but the for some reason it was under the kitchen stove." Mary said. Both Monty's and Mina's eyes were open wide. "Under the what?!?!" Said Mina and Monty in unison.

They both ran into the kitchen and opened the oven door revealing two crying babies. Mina took out Molly who was wearing a pink diaper and Monty took out Mason Jr. who was wearing a blue diaper. "Mary, put Molly and Mason Jr. in the oven!!" Said Mina. "Oooohhhh. No wonder it was smelling like apple pie and cake in there. Life is crazy." Said Mary leaving Mina and Monty sighing with the two bawling infants in their hands.

~~~~Time Skip (I'm lazy)~~~~

Monty was in his room unpacking a bit more stuff from the move when he heard some yelling. So he decided to check it out. He went in to a room near the master bedroom seeing his younger identical twin brothers arguing. The first one was Malcolm with black messy hair, a blue sleeveless shirt, gray shorts and is 13 seconds older. The second one was Melvin with brown also messy hair with short bangs, an orange shirt with a dark blue long sleeve underneath and yellowish and brownish pants. (P.S. they are both 8 years old).

"Boys!! What's all the arguing about?!" Shouted Monty. The twins turned to him and they both asked, "Which of us dresses up cooler?!" Monty face-palmed. "Guys, it doesn't matter. You both dress up cool no matter what you wear." Said Monty. "Anyway, dad wants everyone downstairs for dinner. NOW!!"

"Fiiiiiiinnnnnneeeee." The twins whined. Monty then left leaving with his final sibling, his little sister Mandy. A 6 year old girl with a small pink and yellow striped long sleeve with some overalls around it, really messy brown hair and little princess crown on her head. "You don't have to tell me. Max already told me, so byeeeeeee." Mandy said while walking downstairs to the kitchen. 'Great. Now There's a second Miranda in this house.' Monty thought.

~~~~~Time skip~~~~~

Goliath, the family's Great Dane, was eating his kibble for dinner, while the whole family ate their dinner which was mac & cheese with some vegetables. As soon as they were done eating, they were all excused. Monty was in his room sitting on his bed and looking at his amulet. He sighed then looked outside seeing Lincoln's house. "I don't know what to do. In one hand if I tell Lincoln about the amulet, he'll spread the word and we'll have to move again. But on the other hand if I still keep it a secret, he'll get suspicious then find out sooner or later." Monty said in a worrying tone.

Suddenly all his worrying was slipping away when he looked down outside and saw the most beautiful thing in the whole world:Fireflies. Monty started to smile at the sight of the wonderful lighting bugs. The time was 9:20. "Man, what a day. Moving to a new city, meeting new people and keeping a secret about a magical amulet. (Yawn) I just hope things will get better soon because this (yawn) is gonna be....a wild year...and I hope it will...shine bright....as the...sun." Then Monty went straight to sleep. As he was sleeping the sun amulet began to glow like a firefly, started the music, and was making a dream that Monty would never forget.

The next morning, Monty woke up in his morning light lit room still smiling and looks at us ending the chapter.
