Chapter 1
(Louis POV)
I awoke on a gloomy Monday morning. It had been four days since they had past and yesterday
was the funeral. I sluggishly get out of bed, my feet touching the cold wooden floor. My legs are
trembling from the sadness as I walk into the hallway.
I stumble into the kitchen knocking over the broom, startling nick, as he's making tea. I pick up
the broom looking at him apologetically and sit at the dining table. He walks up behind me and
puts his hand on my shoulder.
"You know Lou, everything will be okay. Just give it some time." Nick says flashing me an assuring smile.
I snap with an attitude "how would you know?"
"Because they were my parents to Lou, how about this?" He says some what grinning.
"Yeah?" Curiosity rushing over me.
"My friend Jack was telling me about a little town about four hours from here that his family goes vacationing in, called White Chapel." He explains.
"White Chapel-"
"Let me finish..." He cuts me off.
"He told me if you were up for it, we could stay in his family's vacationing home. We need a fresh start, and mostly need out of this town."
I pondered at the idea a while and thought it could be a fresh start after all.
We say our last goodbyes to this house and all of its memories good and bad. We visit our parents
graves leaving flowers behind. I miss them so much it hurts to say the least. I say my final
goodbyes to them and tell them how much I love them. We leave Doncaster the one place I'm
familiar too.
