I sighed sadly. Putting the pieces together in my head. "Mello....I'm so sorry." I whispered. Hugging him. Mello cried into me. "Don't leave... please..." I smiled, rubbing his back. "I won't...promise." Honestly, I didn't know if that was true or not. I felt bad for hurting him, but staying with him after he killed someone...?
I sighed and looked at the police officer. "That's all I remember about that day....I promised him I wouldn't leave..." The officer nodded. "Do you remember his second victim?" I shook my head. "He came home covered in blood, I was too afraid to say anything to him..." I sighed as I looked down, thinking of how much Mello has changed since his first murder. I wish things would go back to normal.....
