A short POV..... I was going to add more of Sarah's bit on the end, but you would have been waiting until tomorrow... so a short update, but it'll stir up a little bit more I'd assume :P
Also it's late, and I am tired. I need to edit this ALOT. but I also need sleep so I can function at work tomorrow! night night

My head, oh good god my head was pounding.
“Where am I” I groaned, as I fought to open my eyes
“You’re at the hospital Mr Jackson.”
Oh fuck, that’s right. I’d left Sarah to get dinner. I left her looking so serene on the bed, wrapped in the sheets on her bed. The glow of our day together had still been evident in the blush of her cheeks.
“You’ve got some broken ribs and contusions. Your injuries look more severe than they are. You are a very lucky man” as I finally managed to open my swollen eyes I noted the small hospital room I was in, a doctor stood beside the bed with a clipboard.
“What’s with all the machines?” I croaked
“Observation, we’ll be keeping an eye on you over night. Is there anyone we should call?”
I nodded and handed my phone over, my heart wanted to say Sarah. My heart wanted to call her, and run away with her, no one could touch us if they didn’t know where we were.
“Call Janie. My PA. and doc, I’m going to do something at one point. It may seem like I have amnesia…. I don’t, but it is important these people believe it to be true”
It was the only option; it was the only way to keep her save, when everything else seemed to be failing us. Someone wanted to keep us apart, and I had no idea who. One thing stuck in my mind, that made the decision to lie that much easier.
Her life is at risk until I know who is behind all of this.
“Mr Jackson, I can’t do that” The doctor replied “It unprofessional”
“I’m not asking you to say anything. I’m asking you not to say anything”
“I don’t know…”
“I wouldn’t ask unless it was life or death” I replied honestly.
“Perhaps you should call the cops?” The female doctor suggested as she walked up to the IV line and tapped it
“Perhaps” I nodded
The truth was I’d recognised one of my assailants. He’d been one of the cops that had taken Sarah’s statement. He knew where she lived.
As he’d kicked mercilessly into my stomach as I lay on the ground he laughed manically before bending over me.
“My boss has a message for you” He’d croaked, in a failed attempt to disguise himself “He’s said to stay away from the girl, or he’ll kill her. He also says that he has friends in high places all over the show and that you messed with the wrong man.”
The other person had stood by for most of the attack, and while he didn’t say a word… something about him seemed familiar. At one point he held me down while the “disguised” cop had pummelled my face, I had reached out to pull off his balaclava and then I had blacked out and woke in here.
