That night,

I was currently laying my very clean bed in my very clean room. All of the books were in place. My clothes tucked neatly into my drawer, with no socks were hanging out. Everything is perfect.

I climbed out of my bed and looked at my watch. 7:32. I'm on time, as usual. Following my time schedule, I yawned and got up to brush my teeth. Afterwards, I got dressed in my ironed blue, plaid skirt and white shirt. I tucked my shirt in, making sure it wasn't sticking out anywhere. I pulled my light brown hair up into a perfect bun at the top my head, with two strands on the side of my head, by my ears, let out.

I looked at my watch again. 7:34.

"Cara! Audrey! Time for breakfast!" My mother called from downstairs. Indeed, it was time.

I grabbed my bag and walked out of my room stopping in front of my sister's room. It was a mess, the complete opposite of my room. If she were to clean up, however, it wouldn't be perfect.

"Cara, you need to set an alarm in the morning." I said watching my twin sister scramble around her bed room.

"Audrey, I don't need your monotone sass this morning." Cara snapped as she slipped on her black jeans. "Don't you have a schedule to get to?"

"This is part of it. It quite entertaining to watch my older sister dance around like a fool every morning." I said, with a tinge of amusement in my voice.

"You must really admire your big sister if watching me is part of your schedule." Cara said as she smirked and tied her long, messy hair into a ponytail. "I'm your role model, huh?"

I stared at her, as she applied eyeliner. "Not exactly. I do respect and appreciate you. However, I can't ignore the fact that I have more achievements and a higher amount of knowledge than you considering you're a whopping two minutes older than me. Not only that, but I'm more organized." I replied, trying to stay as truthful as possible.

"WHY YOU-"

"CARA AND AUDREY! BREAKFAST NOW!" Mom interrupted. Just in time. 7:36.

I turned away from my still furious sister and headed toward the stairs. My mother and father were already downstairs. My mother was scraping eggs onto a plate, while my dad was drinking his coffee.

My dad in a quick and sudden movement, threw the mug down. He stood up, walked over to my mom and grabbed her by the throat.

"What did I tell you about putting too much sugar?" He asked in a calm tone. Mom struggled as she tried to get air.

Dad let go of my mom's throat and pushed her onto the floor. "What a waste." He looked over to me. Cara was standing behind me. I could feel the resent and protection radiating off of her but she wasn't going to do anything. Cara couldn't do anything.

I could only stare back. It was apart of the schedule. 7:40. Father's morning outrage.

I walked over to the table and took a seat. Cara rushed towards Mom and helped her up. My mom continued with her schedule as if one of it happened. 7:41. Breakfast resumes.

I ate the eggs and toast my mom made and headed out the door. 7:45. Departure from home.

I'm out of school now. I took on independent studying in middle school and completed high school my sophomore year. Two years ago, I graduated from college. Now, I was free to do anything I wanted. All according to my plan.

7:47. Stuck in Traffic due to complications with a mentally ill man.

7:57. Finally get out of traffic.

8:02. Radio talks about elementary school shooting in New York. All teachers that were shot died.

8:11. Arrive at Lincoln Park. I got out of my car and walked towards the bench. Joggers were jogging. Since it was 8:00, no children where here. Probably getting ready for school.

I pulled out a book from my bag and began to read. Life and Her. It was a weird book. A romance between a ghost and a living college student. I hated romances. Especially this one. However, I was addicted to the characters and their stories. How they loved one another. The fake romance that was not existent in this world.

I felt someone breathe lightly on my cheek. It was a warm and gentle gush of air. A kiss on followed afterwards. Instinctively, my hand flew up to my cheeks as they reddened.

"Audrey, good morning." A familiar voice whispered. "So elegant and beautiful, even when you're flustered."

8:23. Ezra Arden arrives at Lincoln Park.

"Why are you always reading this book?" Ezra questioned as he plucked the book from my lap. "I thought you hated it."

"I do." I replied as I took the book back. "I can't help myself. I guess I'm addicted to the fake love that's shown."

"Love isn't fake." Ezra said as he plopped down next to me, his arm on my shoulder. "If it's fake, then what do I feel for you?"

"Respect? You look up to me?" I answered smirking, moving closer to his face. The sudden move shocked him which caused him to lean back. I allowed myself to laugh a little.

8:24. I learn that love is real. That I love Ezra, my sister, and my mom.

"I enjoy being with you, Ezra." I smiled.

"Then why don't you date me?"

"You know why. I don't have time to waste. Relationships... they're unpredictable." I replied.

"Yeah, yeah." Ezra let go of me and frowned. "I'll never be with you."

8:27. I break Ezra's heart with emotionless words.

"Alright, I'm leaving." I announced while looking at my watch. I stuffed my book in my bag and stood up.

Ezra stood up also, keeping his eyes on the ground. I walked up to him and hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry. You don't understand now but you will eventually." I whispered.

"Is this about us dating?"

"No." With that, I gave him a peck on the cheek and walked over to my car.

8:32. Departure from Lincoln Park.

8:45. More Traffic heading toward to city.

9:00. I get out of traffic.

9:20. I arrive at the tallest building in the city.

9:25. I am halfway to the top.

9:30. I arrive at the roof.

9:31. I move towards the edge.

9:33. I jump off.

I settled into my bed at precisely, 8:53 PM. At 10:00, I set my alarm on my phone for 7:30, then proceeded to go to sleep. I prepared for the dreaded day to start again. All according to the schedule.
