Chapter 5: the rug

Brendon's P.O.V :
Today was a meeting day at work
They were having trouble with the shoe department and there was a mix up in sketches... apparently someone wrote down the wrong material and it was supposed to be suede and not leather so the boots were mass produced wrong and nobody even caught that... anywho I fixed that problem and now I have a headache

While driving home in my brand new Aston Martin I was thinking about how quick the meeting was I was in and out of the place within three hours...I'm usually there all day but this problem wasn't really a big one compared to all of the others we face at A&A..

I pull in to the front where the valet parking is and walk into my apartment building I get a lot of polite greetings by my staff and I make my way to the top floor where the penthouse is.
I get kinda exited when I open the door knowing that a beautiful woman will be on the other side "HONEY IM HOME"
I exclaim just to be funny.. I wait a few seconds for a reply after taking my shoes off and handing them to my maid ms. Rosa but nobody answered so I gave ms. Rosa a worried and confused face and she says in her thick Spanish- English accent "the girl is laying in the hall and when I tried to get her up to eat her breakfast she just rolled over" very confused i reply "thank you ms. Rosa".
I skeptically walk over to the hall that leads to Emma's room
Oh goodness why is she asleep haha this girl.. I shake her to wake her up "Emma"... "eeeeemmmmaaaa"... "wake up" "wake uupp"

Emma's P.O.V :
" Emma" uhhhhg I keep hearing someone call my name but I don't wanna get up I'm not that tired anymore I'm just to comfortable "Emma" Wait where am I...
OH NO I forgot once again that I was in a pent house I open my eyes slightly and roll over to see brendon on his knees, I close my eyes because the rug is so nice against my face "5 more minutes"

"Haha come on em"
Uuuuuuuhhhhggggggrrrrrr

I let out a huge sigh as I hear brendon getting up I open my eyes to see Brendon's hand stretched out to me
I sit up to grasp the hand as I'm lifted swiftly to my feet with no hesitation.

"So uh are you going to explain to me why you were sleeping on the carpet and why your food is still on the counter"
My dumb stomach growled as I looked up at the time that [2 : 04 pm] holy crap I woke up at 10 am how is it already freakin 2 I was only asleep for what felt like 5 minutes..
"Well uh I got up right after you left and was trying to find the kitchen when I fell and the carpet was so comfy and I was so tired so I just stayed there"

He chuckled and stated "what about when ms. Rosa tried to wake you"

Uh ms Rosa?!¿ I do remember a Spanish lady in a tan and white uniform walking away but I thought that was in a dream because I didn't think that anybody else was here

"Oh uh I guess I just didn't wake up"

My stomach growled again

Brendon heard it that time "heh lets go get you some food you must be very hungry"

When we went into the kitchen Brendon properly introduced ms. Rosa and I and then told her she could go home early today she resisted at first but then finally gave in and left.

"Now who's going to cook.. "
Brendon calmly answered "me of course" with a bright smile before walking over to an apron hanging on the wall and putting it on..

The apron was white and had the words Mr. Goodlookin is cookin on it and I started to laugh
"What you don't think I can cook"
Hahahahhahaaha "no it's not that it's the apron"

He looked down at it and read it "oh yeah heh ms. Rosa gave it to me one year for my birthday and I've kept it and used it since because she knows how much I like to cook"

Hah that's sweet "well props to ms. Rosa because that looks great on you"

"Why thank you miss" he said before a bow

"My pleasure" was my reply followed by a curtsy

Well it's been a long time so this ones long to anyone who actually reads my story 😂😂
