COMPLETELY NOT EDITED

Cries filled the air, complementary to the sound of sticks as they hit bare fleshy skins. The emperor remained seated at the top seat, shielded from the rain. Eunuch Kim was standing beside him and Sungnyang behind. He looked at the bar of silver again, which had proved Sungnyang truthful.

His fists caused everything on the table to fall as he banged the table. The darned physicians had been poisoning his mother all along yet they refused to admit knowing anything about it, talk more of confessing who gave the orders.

"Your majesty! I'm innocent"

"Your majesty! Please i don't know anything"

These were the words continuously uttered weakly,by the seriously tortured physicians. He looked at them grinning painfully. Its true, these people really have no regard for him as the emperor of yuan. He had ordered the arrest and torture every physician at the health bureau, keen to get to the bottom of the issue. He had since given the order to move his mother to Samseyung palace of course, the rightful place for an empress dowager.

He walked into the rain, eunuch Kim behind him, yet not uttering a single word for he knew how enraged the emperor felt.

Pointing a blade at the chief physician's face, the emperor spoke with nothing but anger, contempt in his voice.

"I..i am your emperor. No i am choi young, the son of the late emperor choi. Rather the murdered emperor. How dare you disregard me? Confess immediately."

The chief physician only drew in a large breathe and spoke in the loudest voice he could muster.

"Pyeaha! I am innocent your majesty. I don't know anything your majesty."

The emperor looked more than angry, then raised his sword high, the physician had closed his eyes already.

"Your majesty!"

A tiny shout came and looking below him, a green uniformed lady in waiting was on all fours.

"How dare you! Do you have a death wish?"

He thundered, and silence fell everywhere. Even the criminals stopped groaning and looked bewildered at each other, then at the lady on the ground. Wondering what audacity she had to interrupt the emperor.

"Her majesty! Her majesty, the empress dowager has woken up. Pyeaha!"

Clang!! The sword fell loudly to the ground, and his arms lay lifeless at his sides. Watery eyes, nostalgia, scream, laughter. So many emotions, he couldn't feel any one precisely.

"Your majesty!"

The servants chased behind him as he broke into a run, not minding the rain.

Sungnyang ran too, gathering her folds of gown in her hands. Then suddenly, an arm pulled her into a corner. She gasped and turned round immediately. It was Lady Go. The great empress's most trusted attendant.

"Ki Sungnyang"

She started rather sternly, then giving Sungnyang a long cross look, she continued.

"The great empress wants to see you immediately."

Sungnyang wanted to object, but the strong hold on her arm and the appearance of two guards kept her tongue in check. Nodding, she followed the lady wondering why she was called, and why they weren't headed to the Gocheyon palace, where the great empress resided in. It was too late when she realised she was bowing kidnapped for when she tried to run, a sharp blow on the head rendered her out. Completely out of her consciousness.
