"I can't do it... I can't do it..." Ray mumbled threw his sobs as he sat in his home in good neighbor on his long red couch on the second floor, (mod) crying his heart out till the point he could barley breath. The room it's self was barley lit with the only light coming from the lamp on a desk he had in the far corner, where he kept his memos.

He couldn't believe that his brother was the head of the institute, his baby brother. Learning the truth drove him over the edge till all he could do was cry. Ray thought back to that instant he returned threw the teleporter in sanctuary. Hancock had been waiting there for him to get back, worried about him, but Ray couldn't say anything. Instead of telling the love his life, he ran off with out a word all the way to Goodneaghibor.

*why Shaun why... Why did you have to be its leader, is nothing in this fucked up world ever going to just work out for me. Is this just karma? Karma from the fact I didn't do anything to save my father... To save you* Ray lost in his thoughts failed to hear Hancock down stairs calling out his name in a concerned than panicked tone when he heard sobs come I got from upstairs.

Hancock rushed up stares thinking Ray was hurt only to stop at the top step. Seeing the guy crying was almost enough to break the ghouls heart. The guy didn't even lift his head as Hancock walked over to Ray and sat next to him on the couch. Not knowing how to comfort some one he gently placed a wary hand on his lovers back. The two sat in the guiote room, the only sound in it was Ray crying, till the ghoul spoke. "It's going to be ok, what ever they did to you or said to you I won't let them hurt you. I'll kill every last one of those institute bastards if they did." The anger flared in Hancock's eyes as he spoke, determined to protect the sobbing kid from being hurt. But, the words only made Ray cry harder "you don't get it-" he wiped his tears on the sleeve of his black hoodie "-there leader I... I don't know what to do"
"Did there leader hurt you.!" Hancock became furious at the thought even more so than before "I'll kill everyone of those fuckers if they did! I fucking stab them and slit there fucking throats if they try anything." The ghoul was angry more so than he had ever been, seeming as though he was about to storm the institute singal handedly to wipe them out. Makeing a move to try and get up and do so as well.
"No! Please calm down don't hurt them!" Ray had turned and latched on to Hancock stoping him from getting up.
"An why should I?! they deserve to die for makeing you like this! I'm going to kill there leader for hurting you, I'll kill him like I did that man the first day we met."
"Please stop! The leader... The father-" he started sobbing again "he's my brother... My baby brother"
Hancock froze at that "You said your brother was only eleven though that the institute had only had him for 10 years. That boy you said you saw in the memory den was only eleven" he looked at Ray worried when he saw the tears again.
"I know and I screwed up. I'm 220 years old, I was asleep for so long. What happened 140 years after I was asleep felt like 5 seconds. What happened when I woke up in 200 felt like 6 seconds. You need to understand-" The tears kept rolling down his cheeks but the sobs stopped "When your asleep for that long time loses all meaning, there's no concept of days, years, centuries. All there is, is really nothing, sometimes there were dreams and other times just an absence of thought. In truth... To me if feels like my father and brother were taken just yesterday. I guess it's the side effects of a long sleep. Even after two years."
Hancock just sat there and listened, eventually grabbing hold of Ray and bringing rays head to the ghouls chest. "if you can't think straight, or you need a reminder your here, an not in that cryo tube, you can listen. Count it. Realize that each beat is a second your stuck with me and my love for you." Ray blushed causing Hancock to smile as the boy in his arms started to calm down.
"I just don't know who to side with anymore, who to believe, I made a promise to protect my brother no matter what... But I don't want to lose you."
"Your not going to lose me."
"But how can you be certain!?"
"When you first questioned me on if I loved you, I told you I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone, to wake up with this ugly mug every morning." Hancock used the arm that was wrapped around Ray and moved it on to his head, petting the boys jet black hair softly "I remember what you said, "I can chose for my self who I fall in love with" that no matter what I looked like or if I was a ghoul or not, you loved me, for being me."
Ray looked up into Hancock's eyes as the ghoul gazed across the room remembering the memory with a fond smile.
"I'll tell you the same thing you told me. I want you because you are you and I've know you for two years now Ray. If you broke this promise to your brother it would tare you apart inside, I love you to much to watch you go threw with that."
Ray kissed him on the cheek drawing the ghouls eyes down back at him. His tears dried up and replaced with a smile. "I get it"
"You better, I get worried when you cry, so don't make a habit of it"
