Savvy and Alden

I grab the remote and switch on the television set. Honestly I kind of miss Savvy. It's very quiet around here. An alert interrupts my show and I lean forward to read it.

"A series of kidnappings have taken place around the city, the following people are listed as missing.Twenty three year old, Savvy Nabaski-"

I paused for a second. Savvy? I continued to listen.

"Twenty three year old, Savvy Nabaski, nine year old, Linaya Farison, fourteen year old, Alena Marrison and seventeen year old, Lisa Ashertin have been taken. The kidnapper has been described as tall, possibly a brunette, has Hazel eyes, thin and wore all black, as well as a black scarf to cover his mouth and nose."
The screen switches to a shot of Renee, Savvy's co-worker, crying and talking into a microphone.
" We were leaving work and-"
She chokes for a minute then continues
"-She wanted to head out to a club. So we went. And we were ordering our-"
Renee starting sobbing violently.
"-There was a man! There was a *BEEP*-ing man! He kept looking at us. And we thought he was sketchy so we decided to leave. While we were outside."
She starts coughing.
"he ran behind Savvy and pointed a gun. H-he pulled it. He pulled it on her leg. She collapsed and he took her. I ran. There was nothing I could do. THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO!"
Renee starts screaming into the camera and cries. The screen switches to another family but I turn of the tv before they could speak.
I couldn't watch anymore. I was so shocked. I couldn't cry. I couldn't move. I didn't know what to do.
There was a knock on the door.
I open it and a flood of reporters drown me.
