You're All I Have

Chapter 3

  I was on the ground looking up. I looked at Jacob and said," He spoke to me again. Let's go see if anybody can see me now." He looked at me for a Long time but nodded anyway. We ran down the street to find some random people. 

We found an old couple and slowly walked up to them and Jacob said to them," Excuse me mam, but can you see anybody right here next to me?" They looked at him for a moment and looked at me and said," Yes, we can see a young girl about the same age as you." He said thank you and we ran off. Once we got some distance from them we screamed and hugged each other. I have never been so happy to be alive. I looked up at the sky and I said thank you to him, maybe a thousand times before Jacob pushed me to the wall and kissed me.

I couldn't move at first but I slowly touched his face with my hands and kissed him back.I felt so much passion coming from him. It felt like fireworks in my chest. I couldn't help but smile in to the kiss, making him chuckle and pull away. he looked down and said, "Katie, will you be my girl?" My smile grew wider because I have always wanted him to ask me that question. My face turned red and nodded. He took my hand and began walking down the street.

 I was hungry, so we decided to go to a little diner. We sat down and a waitress walked over and took our order. I was craving a bloody steak and Jacob order a cheese burger. We talked and I soon brought up what the voice had told me. I had no clue what it meant, so I needed help figuring it out. "You know those legends where humans drank the blood of other humans to stay alive?"Jacob asked me.I looked at him for a moment and then everything came to me. 

"Oh my gosh, I am a vampire!" I exclaimed out loud. I quickly grabbed my mouth in shock. I looked around and no one was paying any attention to me. I turned back to Jacob but I really didn't know what to say.  Then I asked the most important question," What will happen now? Now that I'm alive, people will go asking questions about how I'm alive."

He smiled at me and said," We will go to a new city and live there. We will get new names and start fresh."

 I looked at him and said," You would do that for me?What about your family?" 

He just shook his head and said," They won't mind. I will just tell them I am going to transfer schools to get better grades and they won't care." I nodded and we left the dinner. I had a huge smile on my face and it felt really good.I walked him home and I kissed him goodnight. I went to the shed and lay down with my best smile and the best dream I have ever had. 

I got up early and got dressed in skinny jeans and a black T-shirt.I then found myself in front of  my house and knocked on the door. My mom answered the door and gasped. She got real still and started to cry, which made me cry too. She pulled me into a hug. I went inside my house and I looked around. My mom screamed for my dad and he came in a rush and wrapped me into a bear hug. Once that was said I told them everything, and since everybody thinks I'm dead I am moving to a new city to start fresh. I told them I won't be alone because Jacob is coming with me. I told them how I will still talk to them I could only visit but that's it. I told them I loved them so much. My mom gave me my phone back and I left to go to Jacobs's house. I took out my phone and called him. I told him that he could pick any city he wanted to go and I would follow. He said we would be going to Forks in Washington. I told him okay and I meet him at his window. He said bye to his mother and father and I took him to my shed. I had to pack and get my things, before we left to Forks.

When I got to the shed, he looked surprised to see everything to tidy. I smile at him and I started to pack. It took me ten minutes to pack everything. It was late, so he spent the night with me. I fixed him a bed so he could lie down. I went out for a minute and when I came back he had moved his be next to mine. I didn't mind though. I put on my pajamas and I lay next to him. I rolled over facing the opposite way of him when he rolled over and spooned me. He was so much taller than me, I felt like a teddy bear next to him. I like it though. I slept like a baby that night.
