Hi, this is a collection of AUs and headcanons I have for Warriors by Erin Hunter! Let's get a few details out of the way that'll apply to all content in this.
• Starclan cats are empty shells of themselves. There's no emotion. In the first series, they were freaky. They didn't act like themselves and delivered vague prophecies. In Firestar's leader ceremony, I didn't feel relieved to see everyone again. No, it's like seeing a terminally ill family member who's poor mind isn't with it. They are mentally themselves till a prophecy has to be delivered. They then turn into vessels. Basically Starclan is like how it was in the first series.
• The dark forest doesn't exist! I have always despised it. It made the warriors afterlife into generic a heaven and hell setup. Training was sorta cool I guess till the cats started interacting with the real world. The demon cats battled with the Starclan and real cats. W h a t? Yes, I'm struggling with what to do with the 4th series.
• Nobody has powers. The three never had powers since they legitimately never contributed to the plot. I'll go into how "powers" affects the story. A special connection to Starclan like with Goosefeather and Sol (with the POT AU) is the exception. Yellowfang's power did literally nothing and it made the decision to become a medicine cat worse. How can you treat a cat if you feel the same agony? What if it's an elder dying due to heart/kidney disease? No, horrible idea.
