Sitting with her on the empty bench of the park,
which gives me all kinds of sparks.
And just seeing her smiling face,
sets my heart on a race.
'' It's your birthday Nick
but I don't have anything else
to give other than this.''
She took out a small chocolate cake with glee,
And placed it in front of me.
''Come on , what are you waiting for
make your wish.'' she squealed.
And I don't how just by seeing her care for me,
makes me feel happy;
And I'm sure I'm becoming a
love sick puppy.
Bending down a little low I gave the candles a blow,
and saw her face glow.
I think this a moment which I never want to miss
''Just stay by my side and that's my only wish.''
