He smiled and pecked my lips,

Leaving me with two rosy cheeks;

Bending down on his knee,

He held out a ring to me.

"You are the only one I want

to care for all my life so...

will you be my beloved wife."

And soon I find tears washing my cheeks,

And a small smile approaching my lips;

Standing upon his knees he cupped my cheeks,

Brushing the happy tears off with his fist.

I find his eyes curiously wondering in mine,

And I find myself nodding in reply;

"Yes I'll be your beloved wife to be there by,

your side for all my life."

Smiling he quickly slipped the,

Ring in my finger,

Not wanting to wait,

Any longer.

"I love you" is what he said,

Giving me a hug which I'll never forget;

I blushed a little smiling wide,

Because soon I'm going to be his bride.
