I Hate That I Love You

Chapter 2

Lisa's pov

He hit me in my stomach,punched me twice and decides to take me to the hospital for me to die there wow what a guy he is...

I wake up to a dimly lit place i assume is the hospital because it has that scent of injections and stuff....i see my mom and sister sleeping on the chairs beside my bed...ncoo they look so cute😯...i try to move my hand but my mom wakes up

"aww...my baby, what did they do to you?" She said with a concerned look on her face

"mom...he hit me...he punch-" i couldnt finish because i broke into tears

"its okay my child" she said to me

What she didnt know was that it wasnt right...i suffered because of my sister. They beat me up because im the weak one in the family....Ever since dad died,i was never myself....Alyssa would always go for karate lessons while i stayed home drowning myself in tears. It took me 6 months to get over my father's death. Matt is the one who would beat me up. He said that i am the reason why Alyssa doesnt love him back because she cares for me too much so he beats me up to get rid of his anger....my sister once offered to teach me self defence skills but i always freeze when they beat me. Its like i am in another world then boom! I am in the hospital or at home

I am pulled out of my thoughts by my mother's voice

"Lisa?"

"Yes mom."

"How are you feeling?"

"I've had better days..."

My mom decided to leave it at that since she saw that i was weak to speak.
The doctor walked in with a clipboard in his hand.

"Hi Lisa,how are you feeling?"

"Bad"

"Scale of 1 to 10?"

"7"

"Its not that bad but i will give you an antibiotic to ease the pain in your lower abdomen and i will give you heavy painkillers to ease the pain in your bruises and any other pain you might have."

"Thank you doctor" my mother said before i could reply

"Your welcome and i am pretty sure if your body heals at this rate, you will be able to go home tomorrow."

I was grinning from ear to ear to hear such news. The doctor left the room and my mom left leaving me with my sister.

"So what are you gonna do with the whole 'Matt' thing, i mean he is coming for you anyways hurt or not?"

"I dont know i really dont know yet but i feel like im just going to stand up to him and beat his ass at his own game"...

i went home with a bandage on my waist because i was bleeding apparently. immediately when i arrived i found my friends waiting for me at the doorstep of our house and boy did they look worried...

my best friend lina,(i know we have similar names) came and gave me a bone crushing hug to which i winced because i was in pain.

Lina noticed this and took a step back..."im so sorry, i heard what happened are you okay? i couldnt stop him...he...he just came like lightning and by the way he got expelled because he has had alot of disciplinary cases."

i actually laughed at that because you see Lina is the type of person who is wild never caring and has never been bullied and is always standing up for herself and her friends. i for one never stand up to people because i feel as though i might hurt them with my words so i let them feel as though they are on top of the world...

the fact that i took karate lessons since i was a child makes me stronger than them but mom told me that its better to be a leader with no title than a leader who provokes the nation.so i took the advice and kept it to myself whereas my sister uses it at any given moment and she loves me dearly...not.

anyways mom told my friends to go back home and after they left she told me that my sister and i would be changing schools by the end of the week.
