I woke up in a hospital bed. I was so confused.

"Why am I here?" I thought to myself.

I heard mumbling out outside of the door so I sat up and focused more on the sound. All of a sudden my ears unclogged and I could hear the conversation clearly.

"Yes, Kendra is still breathing today," a male informed someone.

"She may not wake up today but we'll see what happens," the what seemed to be a doctor explained.

"That's okay, we still have hope," I heard a women sniffle.

"Who is that? And who is we?" I thought.

"Thank you for understanding," the doctor replied.

"No, thank you," another male thanked. And everything became silent. My ear went back to normal. I freaked out a little but moments later, I heard the door slightly open. It was the nurse. She just stared at me with her huge blue glassy eyes and quickly called someone. Then a man in a white lab coat appeared in the room. I assumed it was the doctor that was talking.

The doctor quickly walked out of the room to go do something and before running out he put the clip board in the clear container on the wall. The nurse also sped out closing the door. They looked like they needed someone.

"Who do they need to find? And why are they so shocked?" I asked in my head.

Ignoring what just happened I heard the doctor speaking again. I began to listen to the conversation.

"Kendra woke up," I heard the doctor announce.

"Your joking," I heard the same male voice from before. He sounded shocked. After that my ears gave out and I lost the conversation. I inspected the room after that. I saw that clip board in the plastic container and let my eyes focus on it. Suddenly my eye sight zoomed in and I freaked out and my eye sight came back to normal. I let my eyes focus again and they zoomed in on the clip board again.

"Dr. Renols," I mumbled reading the name on the clip board. My eyes got strained so I decided to look at my presents. There we so many cards, flowers and balloons in the corner.

"That's a lot of gifts to revive over night," I thought to myself. My eyes caught the old grey news papers on my night stand. I picked up the old wrinkled soft one first.

TEEN GETS INTO ABANDONED MARIJUANA FACTORY ACCIDENT

Suddenly a movie played in my vision.

"C'mon Kendra!" My best friend Jackie shouted.

"I can only use my two legs to run and they aren't very fast!" I replied panting and drenched in cold sweat from the cool winter night.

"We are almost there," Zack stubbornly rolled his eyes and kept jogging behind us. Suddenly Jackie came to a haul and stopped in front of a huge shadow. When I arrived Jackie was already pressing and tapping her fingers against the wall. When she tapped on the wall it sounded like metal. So I also inspected it. My skinny cold fingers touched the hard frozen metal. It had screws every few inches so I suspected it was some sort of building.

"Hello? Am I all of a sudden a ghost?" Zack rudely asked with his stubborn attitude.

"Gosh Zack what's your problem, just shut up already!" Jackie fired back so Zack could stop insulting us.

"Don't worry Zack I'll be right there, just trying to find something," I lied trying to be as kind as possible.

"We'll hurry up I never wanted to be here in the first place with this demon!" Zack pointed to his sister.

"Zack, I'm not going to start a fight with you, unless you want my fist in you face!" Jackie snapped.

"Stop guys we came here to have some fun. What's a life without a little mischief?" I said trying to break the fight.

"And plus, you guys are twins, you should be hugging each other right now," I added.

"I found it!" Jackie screamed in excitement. Zack and I ran over to Jackie. She found a door way into the building.

"Oh my lord," Zack whispered in fear. Obviously he was scared of the dark, which is no match for me. I usually do all the dares in our little group so I'm afraid of nothing.

"Did you bring the flash light?" Jackie asked Zack.

"Huh?" Zack stupidly asked.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Jackie screamed in anger.

"I'm sorry sometimes I can be a spaz!" Zack argued.

"Shut up!" I shouted hearing my echo. They both stopped arguing because we found out that this place was probably a factory.

"You guys can't have a normal conversation without fighting," I added hearing my echo again. I took out the flashlight I brought and turned it on. When my flashlight filled in the black emptiness and uncovered shattered glass and broken down metal.

"Guys, I think we just found our selves an abandoned building," I stated.

"Nooo really?" Jackie sarcastically mentioned. I guess she's got the stubborn trait too.

"I guess we should take a look," Zack trembled in fear.

"No, you guys stay here I'll take a look. I won't go to far," I explained trying to be a hero. I stepped inside of the doorway and saw metal everywhere. There was a glowing piece of glass on the ground. I think there might have been an explosion here.

"Hey what does this button do?" I heard Jackie ask.

"Wait! Jackie don-" but it was too late. Her fingers and already pressed down on the evil button of, power? There was a loud ticking sound and I saw that it had illuminated the place. It indeed was a factory. Suddenly we all saw smoke coming from a big cylinder that was cut in half.

"That reeks!" Zack complained. He sure was right it smelled like a bunch of drugs. Then, I realized we were in an illegal marijuana factory.

"Guys we should leave," I suggested before the police arrive. Zack nodded but Jackie didn't agree.

"C'mon guys just a few more minutes," Jackie whined.

"No, if the police see that this turned on they'll suspect something and we'll get in trouble," I explained.

"No they won't!" Jackie argued.

"Yes they will it's ABANDONED!" Zack shouted trying to cough away the smoke. Jackie ignored Zack and went up the steps to where a platform hung over where the huge half cut cylinder was.

"Look at me I'm going to FALL!" Jackie joked but then I rushed up there thinking she was really going to fall.

"Stop, Jackie, we're leaving," I grabbed her by the wrist and she pulled away. We then reversed places because I thought she was going to punch me. Now I was over the edge.

"Jackie c'mon!" I shouted getting scared. I grabbed her by the wrist again and she shoved me. I started wobbling over the edge.

"DON'T TOUCH-" Jackie screamed. Those were the last words I heard until falling into the pit of fire, drugs and fumes.

The vision stopped and I had just realized that I gained all my memory back. I was very shocked and everything made sense now. My eyes caught the news paper that was underneath the old one. It looked new and I could smell the ink. The paper was strait, unlike the the old wrinkled newspaper, and the ink absorbed into your fingers. I saw the caption and it stated:

TODAY MARKS THE SIXTH MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CALIFORNIA FACTORY EXPLOSION

"SIX MONTHS," I shouted and heard the door open. It was my parents with Dr. Renols and the nurse. My parents looked as pale as paper. They both ran over to each side of the bed and squeezed me hard. I began to cry and so did they. It wasn't cries of fear or sadness it was cries of joy.
