I walked into the room, dazed. I couldn't tell who was who anymore. Everyone blended in so well. I don't even really want to be here anymore. It's been three days without hearing from Amelie. I can't even imagine what she could be doing right now. I wonder if maybe she's sick? Her parents went out of town for a few days. They get back tomorrow.
"Elizabeth Foster?" I heard my name and snapped out of it.
"Here." I replied, putting my head down.
"Sweetheart we've already done roll.. Class is over." My teacher, Mrs. Hill, replied.
"What time is it?" I said, looking around but everything was so blurry I couldn't even make out my teachers face and she was right next to me.
"3:30. Go home, Elizabeth." She said, helping me gather my things. I got up and walked out. I only lived maybe 5 minutes from the school, so I decided to walk.
I walked home, passing by Amelie's home. Her bedroom light was on. I figured she was okay so I just walked home. I went inside, and sat my keys down on the counter. I opened the fridge and didn't find anything I wanted to eat so I just kept going. I walked up the stairs and entered my room. I flopped on the bed. There was no life in me anymore. I just didn't know what to do with myself.

I guess I had fallen asleep because I woke up to my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I answered, groggily.
"Is this Elizabeth Foster?" A womans voice replied.
"Yes, who is this?" I questioned.
"This is Olivia Addams with the LAPD." She replied.
"Okay, and what do you need with me?" I asked, irritated.
"We need you to come down to the station... We have something we need to tell you." And with that, she hung up.
I grumbled as I got my shoes and a coat on. It's the middle of October. It's freezing out. I put on a pair of mittens and a hat and walk out the door.
"Elizabeth where are you going?!" My mom yelled as I walked down the street.
"Police Station. See you later." I mumbled knowing she couldn't hear me.
I walked all the way across my small town to the police station.
"Hi I'm Elizabeth Foster, here to see Olivia Addams?" I said hoping to sound confident.
"Sure she's right through the hall." The receptionist replied.
I walked down the hallway, and found Olivia standing by the window.
"Hi.. You needed to talk to me?" I said. She turned around.
"Yes, please come with me." She said as she opened the door.
We walked inside and I sat down.
"I have no way to actually tell you this... But your friend Amelie... She committed suicide last night.." Olivia said, looking down.
At that moment, my life went to a blur.

Hi, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Kaylee and I enjoy writing stories. I decided to write this story because it came to my brain. I know I know this story may trigger some people, and I'm sorry if it does. I wanted to get my ideas down and Wattpad is a place I can. If I triggered you I'm sorry.
