"Wake up!" a deep voice snaps. My eyes slowly flutter open, but then I have the joy of getting cold water splashed in my face.

"Bloody hell!" a different voice yells straight into my ear. My eyes are fully open now, and I'm wide awake. Connor stands above me, holding an empty water glass. I look to my left and I find myself face to face with Thomas, who's covered in water as well. I'm on his lap with my hands on his chest, and the events of last night come flooding back to me like a movie.

I remember leaving Connor at the club. How Thomas told me that I'm worth it.

How I fell asleep in his arms.

Connor grabs me by my shoulders and pulls me off of Thomas. "What the hell is going on in here?" he snarls in my face.

I have no idea what to say. Luckily, Thomas comes to the rescue. "Listen, Connor, this is all my fault," he pleads, he and I standing up from the couch.

"Shut up!" Connor roars in response. He shoves a finger into Thomas' chest. "I've had enough of you. First, you get into an argument with my girlfriend and give her a bruise on her wrist. And now, I come in to find her asleep on top of you! Stop trying to steal her away from me!"

I can tell that Thomas was trying to keep his cool, but he's lost it. "I'm not trying to steal anyone. Kelsey isn't a child; she can make her own choices on who to love."

"And I guess you just took it upon yourself to take her back to her hotel room out of the pure goodness of your heart! I'm not stupid! I can see what you're trying to do here!"

"Again, I'm not trying to do anything. And you were too drunk to come home," Thomas snaps. "Because if I remember correctly, Kelsey was about to call a cab to take her back here because you couldn't stop partying!"

"You guys!" I yell. Both of them seem to have forgotten I'm in the room.

"I was there for her when you weren't!" Thomas continues, looking at me. "And I reckon what happened last night isn't too uncommon for you two. You get too bloody smashed to drive, and she ends up taking care of your drunk ass!"

I wish Thomas held his tongue because Connor's hands are clenched into fists so tight his knuckles are white. He begins to shove Thomas out of my hotel room. At first, he tries to fight back, but Connor is too strong. The two get to the door. Connor opens it and pushes Thomas out.

"Kelsey, I'm sorry!" he yells from the hallway.

"Shut up! Go away!" Connor slams the door and locks it. I look up at the clock above the stove, and I see that it's almost nine. Thomas and I are both late for today's filming. Great.

"Kelsey, what is going on with you lately?'' Connor demands, walking closer to me. He seems slightly calmer now that Thomas is gone. "First, I fly down here to surprise you, and I find you and that kid alone in this apartment! And now, you leave me at a club with someone I barely know getting me a taxi back here and I come home to see you and that boy sleeping on the couch!"

I pause. "Wait. Will got you a taxi and stayed with you, right?"

"Yes. At about four in the morning, we came back here."

"Why didn't you come back here? To my room? Why did you spend the night in Will's?"

"Because I was too drunk to get over here; and he let me crash on his sofa."

This story sounds fishy, but I let it go for now. "And just so you know," I begin, pointing at him, "you should be thanking Will for giving you the ride. He stayed at the club and kept an eye on your drunk ass so I could come home and rest. He didn't have to do that! You were a complete dick to him yesterday. I'm surprised he'd even want to help you.''
