Hey!!! This is my first Star Wars poem!!! Enjoy!!
The Chosen One
Anakin Skywalker was the chosen one.
It was clearly stated by Obi Wan.
No more than a measly slave boy,
With just a pod racer as a toy.
Yet he took flight,
And sought the Light.
And met a girl,
Who changed his world.
But yet as a young bird flies, it falls.
He fell to evil's powerful call.
And after Padmé's heart he broke,
"I love you" was still the words she spoke.
But he denied it and went his way,
Guiltily regretting it day after day.
Yet through the blackness and awful death,
Two infants breathed life's first breath. So then a new hope was found,
Taking flight from ruined ground.
A princess and a brave farm boy.
A smuggler and a devoted droid.
Their fates a cloth that was intertwined,
Not using the tricks of a Jedi Mind.
Now a new pacer of the skies,
He always does and never tries.
Followed by a lover of nice men,
As well as a scholar made of tin.
Now comes a scruffy looking Han,
As well as the ghost of Obi Wan.
Finally, we find a little green fellow,
And a father who powerfully greets "hello".
They all have a mission on their hands.
Even if traveling to distant lands.
And one's fate be frozen,
While the life is at risk of the chosen.
But like a broken- winged bird, their wings still may heal.
And family be bonded with a seal.
Light always triumphs over Dark,
Even with the Emperor leaving his mark.
And with Ani unveiled by his son,
His last thought was: The rebirth of the Chosen OneAnd just like the Phoenix reborn in ash,
Another boy took the Dark Side's path.
Yet all the same, a new hope was born again.
A desert scavenger a ball as a friend.
With a stormtrooper's loyalty to mend.
A war hero and a General kind,
With a Wookie to tie the bind.
A 'saber with a terrible past,
Reveals itself again at last.
To fight against a three-tipped light,
Glowing red and blue throughout the night.
A new quest to find the man,
Who sought to find his missing hand.
On an island with an empty shore,
A girl approached, her eyes an implore.
As he turned his face up to the sun,
Luke cried, "At last! I have found the Chosen One!"
