You have always heard the story's of the companions how heroic they were , when you were a little. So when you were older you set off to whiterun to hopeful join these childhood hero's of yours .
You step into jorrvaskr and the first thing you saw was ... unexpected . A dark elf and a nord woman fighting over god knows what , everyone crowded around them , you walked up to one of them and tapped them on the shoulder .

"Oh , new recruit ? " he says " hopefully , were do I sign up ?" You ask "Go and see Kodlak ,he'll be in his chamber with Vilkas " he says "Okay thanks " you say walking to the other side of the room and down the stairs .
You open the door and walk down the stoned hall , looking into all the rooms trying to fined this kodlak, you walk into the last room to see tow men sitting on tow chairs next to a round table ,one of them looked old but strong with white hair and a red curly war paint and next to him was a man with her black hair and black war paint coming from his eyes

"A stranger comes to our hall ." The white haired man said "Sorry I'm looking for kodlak " you say "Your speaking to him " kodlak says " oh ! I was hoping to join the companions " you say "Would you now? Here let me have a look at you " he says
You step closer and he looked at you up and down . "Hm. Yes , perhaps . A certain strength of spirit " he says The other man looked at his unpleased with kodlak view "Master , your not truly considering accepting her?"the other one says "I am nobody's master , Vilkas . (So that's his name ) "And last I checked , we had some empty beds in jorrvaskr for those with a fire burning in their hearts " kodlak says like he's telling off a puppy .
"Apologies. But perhaps this isn't the time . I've never heard of this outsider "
"Sometimes the famous come to us . Sometimes men and women come to us to seek their fame . It makes no difference . What matters is their hearts "kodlak says "And their arm " Vilkas says under his breath Kodlak heard what Vilkas said "Of course . How are you in battle ,girl ? "
"I can handle myself" you say confident "Good . Vilkas , here ,will be the one testing your mettle "
Kodlak looked at Vilkas "Vilkas , take her out to the yard and see what see can do "kodlak said
Vilkas looked unhappy "Aye"
Vilkas got up and started to walk down the hall to the door with you following . "What's you name ,whelp"he asks "(Y/n)" you say "Hmm" You follow him outside to the yard.
"The old man said to have a look at you ,so let's do this " he says " so what I we count to 3 or ~" He draws his sword and you stop talking . (Okay then ) You draw your sword and get ready "Don't worry ,I can take it " he says with a smile in the corner of his lips "I wasn't "
You swing fist and he steps backwards .You both pause until he moves to left making you move to your left . He swings his sword nearly slashing your stomach , you hit his sword . You both held your swords tight using all your strength , but you didn't think it through and he over came your strength pushing you back on the ground .
You dropped your sword and when you fell , you looked to your right seeing your sword you went to grab it but when you did Vilkas had his foot on it .
You looked up at Vilkas , he had a grin on his face but then it went .
"Not bad , you might just make it " he says handing his hand out to help you up , the smile came back in the corner of his mouth .
"Now your smiling ? " you says jokingly He looks away and the smile went a little .
