Regina Mills was a strong and independent woman. She wasn't emotionally open with just anyone as she found it hard to trust people. She hadn't had the easiest start in life as her parents divorced when she was 3 years old and her complicated past with her old relationships are the reason she has trust issues. She had been screwed over so many times by the people who she thought loved her and the people she thought were her friends that it became a natural cycle in her life and she was used to having her heart broken. There were only a few (and when I say a few, I mean you could count less than one hand) people that Regina trusted; her father, her best friend, Emma and her boyfriend, Daniel. "Why doesn't she trust her mother?" You might ask. Well, let's just say prior to their relationship being 'complex', they don't get on very well; Cora was hardly ever around anyway, even when Regina needed her the most, and she wasn't the warmest mother either (to put it lightly). Even though Regina may have problems with trusting people, she had a lot of good traits too. She knew what she wanted to achieve in her life and she wasn't going to let anyone stand in her way. She had her own mind-set and her own way of thinking which made her quite smart and wise, plus she was quite the feisty type, which made her quite head strong and brave but it could also get her into trouble. In this story that I'm about to tell you, we will learn about Regina's past and how she deals with it in the present, and also how she will deal with her most recent life situations and how prepared she is for the ones that are just around the corner.
