"BRRRR-ING!" A very irritating ringing sound bounced off the bell and echoed through the corridors and classrooms of Storybrooke University. Everyone was scurrying along to get to their first class because, well let's face it, nobody wants to be late on the first day. Regina was one of many who wanted to get to class on time. She walked down the corridor, at a quick but steady pace, making sure she didn't knock anybody over. "Babe, slow down!" Daniel shouted to Regina, struggling to catch up to her. Still facing forward, Regina acknowledged that Daniel wasn't walking by her side. "Why?" She asked. "Well... because you're walking too fast." He sighed. Rolling her eyes, Regina reluctantly walked slower. She turned to face Daniel as she slowered her pace. "Have you ever considered that it's you who needs to speed up instead of me having to slow down?" She said sternly.

Daniel was thrown back at Regina's response, he didn't quite understand how she went from happy to moody and extremely touchy in such a short period of time. "Did I do something to upset you?" He confronted in the most polite way possible. Regina's mood finally caught up with her. She noticed that she had let her feelings build up like the pressure in a bottle of champagne, waiting for the cork to pop, and as a result Daniel got the short end of the stick and she soon felt a stream of guilt. "I'm sorry; I'm just nervous. I want everything to go according to plan today, I don't want to make a bad first impression as a Sophomore, people might not think I'm cut out for it." She confessed apologetically to her boyfriend as she held his hand, stroking his knuckles with her thumb. They stopped walking and stood by a classroom that had the door open.

Daniel caressed Regina's cheek and spoke words of reassurance and forgiveness. "Don't worry, you will be absolutely fine. You're tough. You can overcome anything." A thin coat of tears formed in Regina's eyes. "How can you be so sure?" She whispered. Still gazing into her beautiful chocolate brown eyes, he grinned at her warmly as he put his other hand on her other cheek, resulting in both of his hands cupped around her face, caressing both of her cheeks softly. "You're Regina Mills, I don't know if I could be any more sure if I tried." She smiled at him before he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. The kiss was soft but passionate and must have lasted at least 3 seconds.

In that moment, they both got lost in their own little world. His eyes locking into a loving, tranceful gaze into hers and their lips locking like they were meant to be together, they took the time to engage in the security of being in each other's arms and admiring how much they loved each other. It was like nothing else in that moment seemed to matter, like it ceased to have any meaning.

After their lips reluctantly left the other's, they were quickly snapped back to reality by the unpleasant sound of a cough as though someone was clearing their throat. Regina and Daniel both turned their heads to notice their teacher, stood staring at them with a facial expression and body language which suggested that she wasn't impressed at the fact that they both kissed outside her classroom, when they should be sat at their desks, getting ready for the lesson to start. "If you two love birds are finished, I'd like to start the lesson, so if you stop with the yearning and doey eyes and take your seats, it would be appreciated."
