Last day of school

Brooklyn's view

I wake up in my new bed in my new house. I hear a buzz and then dad's voice come over the built in intercom in the house "Good morning Brooklyn isn't this so cool I can buzz the whole house or specific children"
"So cool" I say in a groggy voice. I walk downstairs and grab pancakes from Mum and coffee and water. "Are you ready?" She questions me. So today is the last day of school before summer break. It went really fast.
"Yes " I smiled as I sipped my coffee.
"Good,oh also tomorrow we are going up to Zoe's house to stay for a few days. They have a adopted daughter who is 13 so y'all can hang out."
" sounds fun." I say.
"Well when you get home you need to pack we are gonna be gone for 3 days," she said.
"Yes ma'am " I say as I put my dishes in the sink and run upstairs I go to my bedroom where I lay out a outfit. I walk into my bathroom and plait my hair to the side and brush my teeth. I walk back out to my room and put on my outfit which was a blue shortsleve that said I woke up like this in bright yellow. I wore high waisted blue jean shorts that were long so they were school approved. Mom then buzzed up and said Zoe's daughter had a channel and go watch a video she had put up so I say at vanity and watched while I did my makeup. I grab the primer I loved and my moisturizer and slathered my face in it. I then grabbed my foundation and put it on then concealer. Blush bronzer and mascara a flesh color eyeshadow with a slightly gray under tone darker shadow in the crease. Then as I pulled out a light pink lipstick Emilia walked up "hey sissy we are gonna be late and can I have lipstick." I smiled "sure " I grabbed the tube and smeared a little on my thumb then rubbed it on her lip. And she walked off I stopped the video I was really enjoying it. I walked downstairs and hopped in the car.

It feels so good to be home from the last day of school I grab Nivea in my arms as my mom shouts "How was your day?"
"Great" I smile as I walk up stairs and throw my backpack in a corner of my room and I plop on my bed I Smosh into the soft bed like a tiny person onto a marshmallow. I grab my phone and see a text from Riley.

R- Heyyo
B- Heyyo how was your last day of sixth grade
R-amazing how was yours?
B- great
R- there was a lot of last day drama though just wondering do you like Luke?
B- no
Hold on can I really lie over text that's so stupid she can't see me biting my lip in my lying way she can't tell I am lying.
B- I mean yes stupid autocorrect
Yeah I did just blame autocorrect for a lie.
R- that's what I thought but you know he likes you right
B- yeah I know well anyways I gotta pack so bye

I get up off my bed and grab a suitcase and a makeup bag out of my closet I open the bag on the floor I throw 4 shirts 4 pairs of shorts 1 swimsuit 1 set of pjs and socks and some more stuff. I get the makeup bag and put a palette my everyday makeup and 4 different lipsticks. I take off my makeup and carry on my day as per usual.
