I woke up. My head was killing me. What looked to be scrambled eggs and toast was sitting in

front on me. Still steaming hot, I blew it. The chains burned at my wrists. I felt helpless. All I

could do was eat in silence. When I devoured my food, I found out that I wanted water. I was

thirsty and my throat was dry. I couldn't do this anymore. As I dozed off to an unpeaceful sleep,
a guard burst through the door. She unchained me. Finally. I felt a surge of relief and ease.

We started down a hallway. "Don't try any funny business with me all right!?" she said.

  "Whatever." I said, feeling annoyed.

"What did you say to me!" she sassed.

"What-ever." I said, sounding it out for her to understand me.

"Shut up you good for nothin' bastard!"

No. Hell to the fucking no. "No, you up before I knock you out cold."

The guard chuckled and said, "I would like to see you try."

That was when I lashed out. I swung at her and she ducked. I thought she might punch around

my head, so I dodged it and punched her stomach twice. She doubled over in pain and surprise

and I took this moment to bring my knee up to her pretty face. Then kicked her in her chest

and I heard ribs crack. I felt pitiful and punched her temple to knock her out. I looked around.

I was surprised. The hallway was empty and there were no cameras in sight. There still might

be tiny cameras. I saw a gun strapped to her side and I took it, belt and all.

I started to scan the area. There was on hallway littered with soldiers. There was another

hallway with no one walking in it. I ran and as I heard shouts, I turned a corner only to see in

dismay that there was only a window. I looked out and saw a large pool. This must be Faction

Blue HQ. Either I fought or jumped. I didn't know what to do. Then I did both. I took out the

gun as I waited for the soldiers to turn the corner— then I started running. I jumped in time for
me to shatter the glass. When I was in midair, I turned to shoot. I dropped both of them. Pain

rang out in my ear. One must have grazed my ear. I cursed out loud while falling. At least no

limbs were hit. I needed to escape and with all limbs intact. I was falling and was still feeling

happy, excited and scared. The air was flying past me and blowing all my clothes up. Until I hit

the pool with a splash worthy of being called a tsunami.
