FIVE

She opens her eyes slowly as she feels someone hold her hand. The first thing she saw was just the plain white walls.

Confused.

"You're awake" she heard a female voice beside her.

She turns around and see Yixing's mom. Her eyes looks like she has been crying for days. She looks terrible.

But then it hit her.

An excident.

As far as she could remember she almost got hit by a car.

Yera doesnt aware of that until she heard Yixing scream her name.

But then the last thing she remember was someone pushed her aside.

It couldnt be Yixing, right?

No it was not him who pushed her.

No it cant be him.

She prevent her mind to think that way because what was she heard after she being pushed aside was a loud blare from a car.

"Yera, you're awake. Stay still, i'll call the doctor" Mrs Zhang stands to call the doctor but then Yera grabs her hand.

"Where's Yixing, mom?"

Silent.

"Mom, where's Yixing? Where's my husband?" She asked again. Sounds broken.

Yera can feel something is not right. She seems like got the idea whats going on but she refuse to think. This is just a nightmare.

"Mom, do you hear me? I ask you where's my husband?" Tears strating to fall as she wipes it immediately.

No, i can't cry.

It's not like something bad happened to him right?

"He's alright.. At least that's what i want to hear from the doctor." Mrs Zhang said. But she sounds so broken to her ears.

"Mom, please tell me he's alright."

"Please, mom" Yera cant help but finally breaking down.

Mrs Zhang rushes to hug her tigh. She tries to calm her down. But she knows, theres no use to fix a broken heart.

"I-i want to see him. Please mom, bring me to see him" Her voice was cracking, she has been dying inside.

"I'll ask the doctor to give you the permission to see him tomorrow. For now, please just rest. You're not okay yet." Sad smile plastered on her face.

She need to be strong for her son and daughter in-law but she's not that strong either.

"Promise i'll be able to see him tomorrow."

Mrs Zhang nodded and went out from her room.

Yera sits alone on the hospital bed, breaking down for the second time.

She's been crying all day. Yera has no idea what to do anymore. This is all her fault.

If only she doesnt exist in his life, this wouldnt be happen.

All these things wouldnt be happen if she's not his wife.

She still remembers how Yixing taking care of her eventhough she knows he dont even love her.

She remembers how Yixing still protect her even he has no feeling towards her.
