Two days went back in silence. There was nothing interesting to do.

Melody says that Pius left for Canada a day ago. He never told me, I was not surprised. I attended the funeral of a soldier and was in a bad mood all day. In the evening when I came back, I found that Peter had a fever and a doctor was called.

I tried to send a message to Pius but he didn't reply back. I tried calling him but he disconnected my call.

I sat out of Peter's room and waited for the doctor to come out and tell me some news when suddenly a hand appeared on my shoulder startling me.

I looked up at the handsome face of Pius Valor.

"What's wrong? "He asked. Chocking on a sob I rushed up to hug him. He hugged me back and stroked my hair.

"What wrong, Catra? " he repeated his question.

"Peter." Was all I could get out of my mouth. The doctor chose the same moment to come out of Peter's room.

Pius and I quickly separated and turned towards the doctor.

He was an old elf with long white hair tied at the nape and wearing spectacles that covered half of his wrinkled face.

"You can go see him. It's just a normal infection. It's because of the cold. I gave him an injection. He will be fine in a few days. " Before his sentence was over I was already inside the room. Pius followed suit, a frown on his face.

I went towards the small bed that was set up for my son. He was sleeping, his forehead still warm. I started sobbing again as I looked at his serene face.

"Hey." Pius said softly and hugged me close again.

"The doctor said he'll be fine. There's no need to worry."

"I'm a bad mother. I couldn't take proper care of him." I said fisting his shirt in my hand as I sobbed. I should have kept him warm. I should have closed the windows. Taken more care of him.

"No...your a great mother. It's just a cold. It happens to everyone. It's not your fault. C'mon, let's get out of here before we wake him up. " Pius and and leaned down to kiss Peter's forehead before leading me out of the room.

Pisces was waiting outside. 

"Go in and take care of him." Pius said to the creature, who eagerly nodded and entered the room.

"You go in too." He said to Melody who was standing in a corner.

We reached our room quickly and Pius stripped me and put me into bed before stripping and getting in himself. I wanted to tell him that I wasn't in the mood and was very tired but I didn't have the energy to open my mouth.

I hadn't eaten properly since two days, trying to get thinner. I was hungry, tired and worried. It was making me stressed and cranky. Maybe I just needed proper sleep.

I didn't even ask Pius how he was.

I turned towards him. He was looking at me through his lashes.

"I'm tired...your tired. Let's just go to sleep. We'll see what happens in the morning." He said and kissed my lips before hugging me close to his cold chest and closing his eyes. I pulled the blanket above us and closed my eyes. Instantly falling asleep.

I felt a soft wetness below my belly button. Something silky, wet and hard was poking one of my lower legs.

A tongue suddenly dipped into my belly button. I was pretty sure it was a tongue.

I giggled at the ticklish feeling.
