"Creeeeeekkkkkkkk!" The door opens, almost as if it was by itself. Little does that beast know, I'm prepared. Click, click, its metal toes rhythmically hit the floor. "Not Today!" I swing the nearest weapon at its feet, and when I hear him crash to the ground, I can't help but glance at it. in the few seconds I see it, I see him. His metal claws shining in the moonlight, his glowing fuchsia eyes begging for help. His back is covered in spikes that look almost extra terrestrial, and his chest is smooth, bare, beautiful. I can see the human behind the brutal beast. He looks into my eyes and weakly utters a single word, "Help."
Suddenly those beautiful fuchsia eyes shut, and his whole body strains, fights, to keep something out. Or someone. His eyes abruptly open. I no longer see the man behind the mask, but the creature who will end my life. I start to run, faster, faster, faster. His claws skillfully hit the floor, as if he's done this before. As I race through the hallway, my eyes dart in every direction, looking for an exit. I find a door. It might be locked, but I'd rather take my chances, for my legs are burning and cannot go any longer. I grasp the handle, nothing. I just gambled my life on a door. I hear him coming closer, slowing. Stalking me as if he were a lion and I was an antelope. I pull again, harder. Nothing. I hear him stop. This is bad.
I finally kick the door. Once, twice, it bursts open, like a popped water balloon. I launch myself into the room, but as I do, he strikes. His claws slicing open my back, but I am numb to the pain, for now. I shut the door behind me and search the room for any object that might be my ally. I seem to be in a sort of basement. I find a single crowbar, and not a thing more. I hear him waiting and waiting, then nothing. He's still there.
