It's been a week since the first day, and of course, Lila still didn't have any friends. You would think that she'd have her friends from last school year, but she moved away from them. Her luck, she can't even say a simple "hi" to get a conversation going and even if she did, what would she even talk about next?
Lila hated the lunch room. She had no one to walk with and sit by, no one to talk to and it just seemed to her that she was the only one without a friend. So everyone stared at her. Well, no one stared, except those few that eyes who were wondering and curious of they're surroundings. None the less she felt the urge to make it seem like she had a friend and was just walking over to them. She felt the fakeness of this act she was putting on, no one believes her and it's painful to watch. She hated every second that the clock ticked by as she sat alone awkwardly.

"Okay! I'm going to walk up to someone and say hello! Then maybe I'll make a friend like that!" Lila got up only to sit back down. "Who am I kidding?! Who knows what will happen? I"ll probably make a fool out of myself. She"ll be like:Hi? Is there something you need? Am I in your way? And I'll be too quiet and won't know what to say and will be like uh, no? Then it'll be so awkward and I'll just run away. Then shell think I"m weird. So no way in hell am I doing that."

"Lila?"

"Uh, yes?" Lila turned around to a girl and boy that was in her Art class. The boy was an average height, with spiky dark brown hair that went well with his freckles that ran across his cheeks. His dark green eyes seemed like his eyes stole the color away from rain forest all over the world. The boy wore some light blue jeans with a warm gray shirt. The girl had jet black hair that glimmered in the light pouring in from the sky lights. Her stormy blue eyes were a beautiful contrast to her dark hair and attire. She wore a dark blue shirt that hung a little lower than her mid thigh with black jeans were torn at the knees.

"We've noticed that you've eat lunch alone everyday, and we thought that maybe you'd want to sit with me and him? only if you want though, you don't have to of course." The girl said.

"Um, sure. Thank you."

"Okay! Great! Um...." The girl thought for a second, which made Lila thought maybe she was shy too.

"Whats your name?"

"Oh! My name is Ava and this is Alexander." Alexander smiled and waved. "Do you want to get something to eat?"

"Yeah, sure!" Lila smiled a big smile, and started to feel that maybe she'll finally have friends.

Soon they were laughing up and having a great time, but time flied by fast and the sound of the bell filled the cafeteria.

"wow, it's time go already? Lunch seemed to go by so fast." Alexander commented.

"Yeah. I thought that it just started" Lila laughed.

"Well, I don't want to be late. See you tomorrow?" Ava smiled.

"Of course!" Lila beamed. She was so happy she could cry. as she headed to class she whispered to herself "yes! I finally have friends!"
