My really bad art book XD [OLD]

Obsidian

(Sorry I was gonna update this earlier but then a thing happened and I got really busy)
Ok, so everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Steven Universe. And as you all know, I love drawing and coming up with characters, backstorys for characters/those characters and coming up with loads of ideas, so I decided to make my own Steven Universe OC; Obsidian! I've done a few drawings of concept art for her(which people who know me irl have ALL already seen). First off is her normally:

Please ignore my bad hand writing as I tell you what it says:
Weapon-deaths scythe
Other abilities:
-can turn into/hide in the shadows
-can see the name and life span of someone just by looking at them(similar to the shinigami from death note(I couldn't resist putting in a death note reference to her design))
-can create a cloak to hide in (which makes her look like death XD)
-and can float, but only when wearing her cloak
Anyway, onto more pics of her:
Obsidian in the shadows:

Yeah, this is her hiding in the shadows. When she hides her gem behind her hair and closes her eye and mouth she is pitch black(shown on the left), but when she doesn't........well.... the pic on the right. Also her scythe has a shadow form too.
In this state she can't be poofed, cracked or shattered but can be trapped by stepping on her. The best place to step on her would be on her gem because then she can't summon her scythe to attack you so that you get off her. She can also be bubbled in this state, but she will still be conscious, like Steven was in the episode monster buddies when Garnet bubbles him.

The next 1 is obsidian in battle:

Nothing much to say about her here other than the fact that I think she looks so bad ass in this and I love it.

Next we have obsidian in her cloak, because obviously you guys wanna see the thing that she frightens humans to death in XD. But seriously, she does look like death and I would personally not want a visit from her when wearing it:

She even has her scythe out to make it more convincing XD

Anyway, my final obsidian pic is 1 that I wanted to do from the moment I first thought of her; her as a Cristal gem:

Nothing much has changed here except the blue diamonds on her top and cloak have changed into a blue star and her hair has become brighter.
Now time for her personality and backstory(this is just my idea of how she fits in to the story of the show, and I am ready to accept me being 100% wrong as soon as we get more back story episodes on SU):
She loves the night, nature, darkness, pranking people( I wonder how she could do that XD), being alone, fighting and apples(yes, when it comes to apples, she is literally Ryuk XD I can't help it if I love death note so much, plus he is 1 of the greatest characters in it)
He backstory is that she and Rose were originally the personal body guards of Pink diamond(I was too lazy to make a pink dining design for her, so just imagine the blue diamonds on her top and cloak being pink instead) and it was actually Pink diamond who had the idea to save the earth, but because of the fact that she is a diamond, gems might not listen to her if she was leading the rebellion, so Rose covered for her, and to make sure no one was near Pink (because they might find her suspicious) they had the idea to pretend to shatter her and she would hide away on earth until the war was over(which ended badly for her because of the corruption song and she was no where near Rose so she wasn't protected by her shield (I think she turned into lion but this is just my theory)), and what happened with obsidian was she was originally going to rebel as well, but the diamonds found out about the plan to 'shatter' pink, so they tried to capture them, and obsidian was the only 1 captured, whilst the others(there would of been other people involved in this(probably Pearl)) still went along with the 'shattering'. Because obsidians powers are pretty powerful, obsidians would of probably been rare, and there probably weren't a lot of resources to make new ones, so instead of shattering her they brainwashed her to hate the earth and blindly follow the diamonds. She was then put under the court of blue diamond as a back up body guard. Thousands of years later, when yellow diamond realised that Jasper has gone missing, Peridot has turned against home world, the rubies have gone missing and her cluster hasn't destroyed the earth, so she gets curious and asks blue diamond to lend her obsidian to investigate. She then runs into the Cristal gems, who she at first tries to kill (just like most home world gems that we are introduced to), but after spending lots of time in Stevens bubble she starts to see the beauty of earth again and becomes a Cristal gem.
