This is going to be a really short chapter! But still... Hope you enjoy! :D

The key fit perfectly into the the back of my nutcracker, and there went a soft 'click' when i turned it.

However, nothing happened after the key was fit in. I turned my nutcracker around to find out what the key was supposed to do. I was expecting his eyes to light up or his eyes to start blinking, however nothing happened and my nutcracker remained just the same.

It was as if i hadn't done anything at all.

I decided to take the key out since it had no effect on the nutcracker at all.

Just as i was about to pull the key out, i realized that the key was stuck!

Just a few moments ago, the key fit so perfectly and effortlessly into the keyhole. But now it was stuck!

I sighed and turned my nutcracker around to look at its facial features in detail, since there was nothing else i could do. I touched the delicately made piece of art admiring every bit of it. His eyes were blue in all different shades. There was a small shade of three shades of blue.Deep blue, turqoise blue and sky blue, all evenly blended together.

I stared at my nutcracker as a whole, trying to decide where i should put it.

Just then, for a split second, i saw a flash of gold at the corner of his eyes. It was as if he was winking at me. A nutcracker? Winking at.... ME? I must be too tired. I thought.

Then, i placed him on the coffee table and laid on the black cushy sofa. In a few minutes i was fast asleep, oblivious to what was happening around me.

Though something was moving.... not something.

Many things were moving around in my room.

As the movement continued, a flash of light, brought a delicate art piece, to LIFE.
