Jihoon's Surprise

Jihoon POV

All I could remember was me and my classmates were playing soccer and then I got hit with a ball on the head. I was perfectly fine but I knew I didn't feel well yet I continued to play. I don't know why I didn't stop.

All I know is that I passed out in the middle of the game and I don't know what happened to me.

I suddenly opened my eyes and said see white all around me. I rub my eyes as I try to sit up and I realized Mingyu was next to me sleeping.

"You should be grateful." The nurse said startling me a bit.

"I wasn't here when you guys came in and it seems he carried you all the way and took care of you since I couldn't." She said as I nodded.

"I actually am grateful, but can you tell me the time?" I asked in a low tone.

"Class is about to end. You guys have I think 2 more periods left and then you can go home." She said.

"Oh ok. Thank you." I said.

"Your welcome. I hope for you to feel better." She said while leaving to go to her desk.

I then saw Mingyu again. It seems he must've fallen asleep while I was asleep. I then leaned a bit closer to get a better view of his face.

He looks really attractive. Isn't he a freshmen here? Wow. Such a young kid with such a nice face. My feels hot a bit. Am I blushing? Why am I blushing?

As I questioned why I was blushing I then saw a little piece of his hair fall to his face. I moved my hand slowly towards his face to move it out of the way. Once I moved it my body slowly began to move closer and closer to him.

I was slowly closing the gap between our lips but before our lips could touch, Mingyu slowly began to wake up. I quickly moved back as fast as I could and once I did, I saw the nurse giving me a smile.

I blushed a bit but once Mingyu fully woke up I began to blush even more.

"Oh hey. You're up. How do you feel?" He asked.

"I'm ok." I said and I looked down and my lap.

"Are you sure? Your face is still a bit red." He said as he got up to check my temperature.

"I'm fine. I feel better." I said in a love voice moving away from him so he doesn't touch me.

"Why are you moving? Stay still, let me check your temperature." He said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.

I ended up staying still and avoiding any type of eye contact. I continued to question why I was blushing so much.

"That's weird. Your temperature is lower than before but your face is red. Are you sure you're ok?" He asked with a worried expression.

"Yeah I'm sure I'm fine. I just wanna go home and get some rest. That's all." I said not blushing as much as before.

"I'll take you home. Come on." He said as he helped me get out of the bed.

"What? Why? You don't have to take me home, I can go by myself." I said in a whisper while trying to convince him.

"Well if you can take yourself home let me see you walk. You worked yourself to the bone earlier in P.E. so I don't think you can walk." He said as he stood back a bit.

"I think I can still walk. I think my legs are just a bit sore." I said hoping my legs didn't give up on me right now to prove to him I can walk.

"Ok. I'll stand in front of you just in case you fall." He said as he stretched his arms out.

I slowly stood up and I could feel some pain in one of my ankles stinging me. I tried not to show any expression and get over it.

I finally stood up and I tried to maintain my balance. I took one step with my left foot because it doesn't hurt as much.

I tried to maintain my balance once again but as I knew my dumb self I ended up tripping a bit. I then grabbed onto the bed as fast as I could and tried to sit myself back onto the bed.

"So you can home by yourself you say? What you just did says otherwise." He said as he helped me back onto the bed.

"Ok fine. Maybe I do need a little help." I said as I blushed a bit.

"Ok. Do you need help with your shoes?" He asked.

"No I think I can tie them." I said as I tried to reach down and tie them but failed as I almost fell forward.

"I got you. Just take a break. I'll take care of you." He said and I just gave up.

I then told where I lived and told the nurse to please excuse me and Mingyu because I wanted to go home because of my injury and couldn't go home alone. She then excused us and we left.

Mingyu rapped my arm around his shoulders and I just continued to walk with him. I tripped on a rock which made me trip a bit and Mingyu began to worry.

"Are you ok? You just tripped on a rock." He said looking at my foot.

"Yeah, I'm ok." I said while looking down.

"Why are you walking like that?"

"Oh it's nothing." I said.

"Is your ankle hurt?" He asked and I didn't respond.

"Wait, stay still." He said as he bent down and lifted the bottom on my pants leg to see my ankle and it was a bit swollen then the other.

"So you did hurt your ankle. Ok come on." He said as he bent down in front of me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"You can't walk on your ankle while its like that so I'll take you home on my back." He said as he waited.

"Ok. Why?" I asked.

"Just get on." He said.

I got on slowly yet quietly. Once I got on he he got up quickly and I got a bit startled because of how tall he was. I kinda enjoyed being on his back. It's was calm and soothing.

When he finally got to my house he rang the doorbell because I didn't have my keys. When I realized who opened the door, I wanted to die.
