Stuck in the MIDDLE of a PRANK WAR (on hold)

I can't accept it. I just can't. It can't happen again. He can't go. He'll come back. It can't happen again. But it's happening right now. And it's all my fault.

"It's all my fault" I repeated out loud.

"Wake up Si ! Don't worry it's okay it's not your fault " Spencer said clinging on to me like his life depended on it. "It's fine everything is fine" tears began to flow like heavy rain out of my eyes leaving me clinging onto Spencer's tear stained shirt.

"It-It-It's my fault" I sobbed into his chest "They took you too and it was all my fault. It was all my fault, Spencer, it was all my fault" I said before breaking down all over again. 

"It's fine I've not gone anywhere," Spencer said as he managed to calm me down until I was only letting out slow sobs. 

"Hey Sierra," he said

"Umm yeah Spence"I replied feebly

"I forgive you,"he said bluntly

"For what?"I questioned

"The prank, and I'm sorry about my revenge it was a bit extreme. How's your headache?"

"I'm fine where's Stella and Ben and oh Abbie" I wondered. How loud was I? I hope they hadn't heard.

"They are downstairs Stella thought there was a scream from your room and I said I would check it out for them. She was just about to come upstairs you know. I don't understand why you won't tell them about the nightmares and insomnia they would get worried if they find out themselves you know. I won't be able to hide it every time"

"They shouldn't have to worry about me, I don't want to be a burden on them. They've done enough for me" I explained quietly laying my head on Spencer's shoulder while he stroked the strands of my hair. No matter how much he annoys me he's still a great brother.

"You aren't a burden but what you are is one stubborn little sister." He says trying to lighten the mood. 

" We're twins I'm not that little Spence "

"I told you that you're stubborn" He counters chuckling as he gets up to leave the room 

"Hey, what about Abbie?"

"She's fine she went to sleep for 5 to 6 hours woke up and asked me to drop her to her house because she wanted to go for a run," he says stepping foot outside the door. Sounds like an average Abbie thing to do.

"Umm Spencer" I call to him just outside my room

"yeah" he pops his head back

"I'm sorry and thank you," I said

"Don't worry about it, Si. " He says smiling and walking away again

You're such a bad person. He is only saying that he doesn't mean it. You're gonna be the reason for all of his troubles.

I run into the bathroom just as I feel bad thoughts clouding my mind and fogging up my vision. I splash warm water on my face and start to get ready for a shower. I have to stop thinking about things like that.

"Honey, do you want some pancakes"

"Umm yes please Stella but I don't want to eat too much because I will literally feel too fat to get to school"

"Of course darling and next time there is a spider just tell us okay," Stella says a 'please don't overreact' look plastered on her face

Spencer walks in grabbing some money of the counter for lunch and shoving it in the front of his black Nike rucksack. I do the same and quickly swing the bag over my shoulder.
