"will you ever forget me?" the small, bleary-eyed girl asked wearily, as they pulled apart.

"that's impossible mackie-moo." the light-haired boy spoke, kissing the crown of her head. her flight was called out one last time.

her slender arms wrapped around his broad shoulders. "i'll always love and remember you ash-y." she softly spoke

"let's get a move on mackenzie." her mom calls out to her. "okay mom." she responds quietly and rushes over.

"bye ash," she called over her shoulder. he turns away slowly.

"bye mac..." he mumbles, staring down at his faded wrists, while she boards a flight across the ocean.
