I'm just going to say most of this story's a trigger warning so

I shook my head coming back to reality. I hadn't even realized a tear had found its way out of my eye until I felt it slip down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away and looked up at the guys who were chatting happily. I stood quickly, losing my balance and tripping. I felt someone's arms around me before I hit the floor and looked up to see Tony chuckling at my clumsiness. I pushed myself out of his grasp and sat back down on the couch, deciding that was probably the best thing to do rather than falling over every five seconds. I pulled my phone from my pocket and, out of boredom, began to play candy crush.

"Hey where do you live so we can take you home?" Mike's voice sounded. I looked at him for a second and set my phone down next to me on the couch contemplating whether or not I should tell them. I decided I would and just work my butt off when I got home. I gave the driver directions to my house and in seemingly no time we were at my small house in the middle of nowhere.

"Thanks for saving me and bringing me back" I said a bit shyly.

"No problem!" Mike chirped.

"Well we couldn't just let you die" Jaime said.

Tony just nodded smiling.

"Are you going to be okay?" Vic asked.

"Yea I think so" I mumbled. He just nodded and I headed off the bus. I walked up to the door of my house slowly, afraid of what will happen. I twisted the handle slowly, finding it unlocked and walked inside. I closed the door quietly behind me and looked up to see Kevin looking extremely angry. Oh no I thought.

"Back again, huh?" He said.

I nodded my head slowly, looking at the floor. "I'm sorry I ran off. Please don't be mad" I said in an almost inaudible voice.

"Oh you're going to be sorry" he said as he stepped towards me. My instinct was to take a step back but I was already right against the door. He got close to me and I shut my eyes tightly knowing he was about to hit me. I felt him grab my arms and forcefully shove me into the door. I refused to open my eyes as his fist collided with my face. I felt a liquid drip out of my nose and I knew it was bleeding. His fist came to my face a second time, then a third, and a fourth before he grabbed the front of my shirt and threw me to the floor. I groaned as my head collided with the hardwood. I felt his foot kick me in the stomach and I groaned in pain instinctively wrapping my arms around my stomach. He kept kicking me though. I lost track of how many times he had kicked me before he grumbled something about me being worthless and threw a beer bottle at me, shattering it as it hit my head. He walked away and I just laid there for a minute. There was a knock on the door and, thinking it was probably one of Kevin's friends, I stood up and opened the door.

"Hey you left your pho-" Tony started but stopped when he saw my face. I mentally slapped myself for not checking who it was first. "What happened? It's only been like 10 minutes" He asked.

"N-nothing it's fine. Thanks for bringing back my phone..." I said, going to reach for it but he held it back from me. "Please just give it to me so you can leave" I said.

"No tell me what happened" he demanded. He looked concerned, but why? He barely knew me.

"I told you it was nothing, now give me the phone" I was starting to get anxious because I wanted him to leave before Kevin came back out. He shook his head.

"No something happened or you wouldn't look like that"

"Who's at the door?" Kevin yelled from the hall and coming towards us.

"Just give me the phone" I said quickly. Kevin grabbed the door and yanked it all the way open, startling me and causing me to trip over my own feet trying to get out of his way. He looked at Tony and glared at him. Vic appeared next to Tony before anything happened.
