The Runner Of Lies: Chapter Four

My name is Alyssa Thomas Winter, and I'm the daughter of Elizabeth Winter. I go to school called Winter Academy which is named after me obviously. But someone is going around and telling lies about me and my friends, but when I try to catch them they run away. Someone is The Runner Of Lies.

Someone has been lying to Amber's brother Roy and his ex-girlfriend Camila Barns saying that Roy only dated her for attention which is totally wrong. It is up to Amber, Tahlia, Tyler and myself to find this person and we might have our suspicions.

One: Emma Harris. Because she hates our guts and wants revenge on us.
Two: Logan Carter. Because he's dating her.
Three: Derek Barns. Because that's her father. (If you really know my characters you'll know who she's related too, hint hint).

And that's it really, I have no idea who else it could be but we're going to find them. And hopefully stop them for good. But before we do, we have school and music class right now and we just got handed our assessment.

"Morning class, so today you will be pairing up with someone to create a beautiful masterpiece and show it to the class." Mr Harries says full of excitement and thrill. "And I'll be putting you into pairs." After he said that the whole class groans into frustration. We never like it when Mr Harries puts us in pairs, because he always pairs us up with people that we hate. "I made a list for you. And if anyone complains you'll be sent to the principles office immediately. Now, Amber Crawford and Emma Harris-"

"NO!" Amber and Emma both yell. Mr Harries looks up at them.

"Amber Emma, do you want to go to the principles office?" He ask as Amber scoffs.

"Better than working with that skank!" Amber says as Emma frowns and rolls her eyes.

"Emma and Amber principles office, now!" He snaps as the girls both walk out of the class room.

Hopefully Amber will be okay? And hopefully I can be with a person that can actually sing and get me great marks? Or a person that we guess who has been lying to Roy? Logan! I need I work with Logan.

"Stuart James and Dylan James."

"Argh great! Not only I have to live with you, but I also have to be working with you!" Stuart snaps at his twin brother as Dylan looks down feeling sad, the boy that I saw in science class yesterday is here too, he pats Dylan on the back making him feel better.

"Rylee Collins and Josh Arthur." What! Oh hell no! I heard a rumour going around saying that Rylee has a crush on him!

I frown as I feel Josh grabbing my hand with a slight squeeze. I blush as he smiles at me and starts walking towards Rylee.

"Theo Fletcher and Ki Mojumdar." Oh no! Them together, they can't do anything besides make a fail experiment.
"Liam Blur and Tahlia Crawford." Naw how cute.
"Barry Gustin and Dallas Mavis." I swear that they're gay, they always hang out with each other so much that I think that they're in love.
"Tyler McCall and Haliee Collins." I heard that Haliee has a crush on Tyler, but I don't know who Tyler likes though?
"Logan Carter and Kaya White." Wait, if I'm not with any of them, then who am I with?
"Alyssa Thomas and Aris Barns." Wait who? Aris Barns? Mr Barns? Or Camila Barns? (Barns? Get it haha)

I look around to find out this Aris kid and my eyes land on... The boy in science class? Him? That's Aris? He looks more like a Jack than a Aris. (Haha)

Once he catches my glance he immediately blushes as he gets up nervously and puts his bag on his shoulder and walks towards my direction, nervously. He sits down next to me his hands starts shaking violently.

"Are you okay?" I ask him as he looks at me like he saw a ghost. He nods rapidly as he nervously turns around to listen to the teacher. Something about him seems weird, like how quiet he is, is he shy? Shy guys are cute, they bring out the wild side at party's and when they're drunk, they're awesome and sweet, very romantic.

"Now this is due in two weeks and I want it to be perfect." Mr Harries said as the bell rang making everyone pack up. Jack (Aris) on the other hand is rushing to get out and before I knew it, he's out the door. Something's off about him.

I run out of the classroom to find Jack and once I did I yell out his name.

"Jack!" I yell out as he stands still looking stiff like a statue. He turns around slowly looking at me and blushing.

I walk towards him, not wanting to run since it'll ruin my hair. Once I'm near him he looks down as he fixes his glasses up (yes he wears glasses in this story, because he'll look cute).

"A-Aris." He mumbles as I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. Hopefully you can sing and get us good marks, if not then I'll sing and you can play and instrument of whatsoever you choose, no trumpet or those things got it?" I said to him as he nods rapidly. "And don't hang out with me, only when we're working together." I said as I then walk off going to my boyfriend's game.

(Now I made their song, it's with four songs mixed in them together I'll show you later. I find this funny, does anyone else? Haha)

I walk towards the benches where I see Tyler sitting down, doing homework. I smile as I grab my strap to my bag tightly and start walking up the stairs to where he's sitting, I then sit next to him. I place my bag down in front of me, in between my knees.

I see Josh's team starting to warm up and his coach getting them all ready. The game is Capture The Flag, wait...Capture The Flag, I remember that!

Okay when I was little I had an idea of creating a game called Capture The Flag, a family comedy for all ages. I told my pen pal when we're like ten years old (haha) and she told me something similar too. Hey why not do it now? Like it's a great idea, well obviously since I made it. Like it's for family and friends.

I turn around to look at Tyler with a smile on my face as he looks at me with a weird look.

"Hey! What if I create a TV show called Capture The Flag? Like a family comedy and they have courses with teamwork to get through the obstacles?" I ask as his brows lifts up as he hums. He grins as he looks up, tapping his chin.

"It sounds fun. Maybe you should ask your mother? She is one of those people who can make it happen, right?" He said as I nod.

"Yes! And you can join it, same with me, Amber and Josh!" I said happily as if I'm going to change the world. Which I will (haha)!

"Sounds cool, really."

I'm going to tell my mother when we get home. And hopefully she'll like it? And hopefully she'll make it into a show?
