You sit there on a cliff holding your legs close to your chest while Hot Shot is in vehicle mode parked next to you. You both watch the sunset in the distance relaxing from the long enjoyment filled day you both experienced. Between rebuilding the Autobot base, protecting you, and fighting off the Decepticons, You wanted Hot Shot to experience what humans like to do for fun. You both drove all over town, showing him the sights, attractions, and even got revenge on your school bully by wrecking her Corvette. It was definitely one of the best days of your life. You felt like Hot Shot was your only real friend, you were both so close to each other since you first met. He never wanted to leave your side and you never wanted to leave his. You dwell on those thoughts and let out a soft compassionate sigh. You look to your side and see that he had transformed into his robot form and sat down next to you. You both continue to stare into the distance. You decided to break the silence.
"Hey, Hot Shot, I'm glad you could come with me, I hope you enjoyed our day out as much I did!"
He looks down at you, slightly smiles and then looks back into the distance with a sigh of frustration. You look at him confused and ask, "Are you okay?"
He replied "Yeah, just really confused.''
"About what?"
He sighed and said, "I really enjoyed our time together, I really did..." he trailed off.
"But?" you looked puzzled.
"But I... I don't know your just going to think I'm weird."
"No I won't!" You sit on your knees facing him he turns his head down to you. You smile and say, "Come on you can tell me anything, what is bothering you?"
"I can't explain it, but I feel 'different'. All day I've had this weird feeling being around you, not in a bad way, just a very good feeling...and...I really like it."
You stare at him in shock for a second then start to giggle.
Astonished by your action he asks, "What's so funny?"
You get control of your laughter "Wow I didn't think Transformers could develop human emotions!"
"Um what?"
"Oh, Hot Shot, that feeling is 'Love'" You blush a little.
"Really?"
"Yes, I know the feeling. Wanting to be with the people you love is what makes us human."
"I feel like I need to be with you constantly, to protect you! I care about you a lot and I couldn't bare to see you get hurt!"
"You won't loose me Hot Shot, I'll be here with you."
"But you are only human, forever isn't really an option."
"Then I guess we'll just have to make right now last as long as possible"
"Okay?" He extends his hand to you.
You smile and place your tiny hand in his, "Okay."
