I've always been taught as a child to not use a calculator because I could type something wrong, and I'll get a totally weird answer. Remember when all the teachers used to get after you for using a calculator on your homework. I do. And now that I moved to the next grade, they MAKE us use the calculator! Like boi, make up your minds!!!!!!
They tell us that we will not know how to do math, and that if we lose our thoughts on how to do simple math, we will become stupid. Well, I think I need to slap some logic into teachers because thats exactly what they are doing!
To be honest, I love calculators. But I just don't like how they force us to use them.
And people wonder why America is getting more stupid. Its because all these teachers teach us how to do math, then they make students flush there skills down the drain. Thank the teachers for our stupidity in economics.
