I made it all the way to lunch before something weird happened.
The bell rang signaling for everyone in the lunch room to make their way to their next class. I was not facing the crash of people and decided to sit up on table and wait.
That's when something weird happened."Emma?? Is that's you? Oh my god that is you! How are you here?" I would never forget that voice. My eyes widened as I saw who sat down next to me.
"Liam! What the hell!? Are you following me?" I was so shocked there was no way this was happening. My crush from across the country that moved two days before he was here, he was in the same school as me!! No way was this happening.
He just smirked. "Well technically since I moved before you, you would be following me."
I cant believe this is going on right here right now. Well believe it a voice inside my head said. Your not imagining it.
"Hello? Earth to Emma. Still here with me?" Liam's voice was so soothing and familiar I melted. "Yeah Liam. I'm here. Sorry for zoning out, I'm just trying to think of how this could be possible."
We were each laughing. Then as we stopped I noticed how close we were. I looked in the other direction
"Emma?" As he said that I could feel his breathe on the back of my neck. When I turned to face him our faces were nearly inches apart. We both moved closer, I thought we were gonna kiss.
Ringgggggg!
There was the bell. We moved apart. "Would you like to sit with me tomorrow, Emma?" He asked. " Sure. I'd love that!" I was blushing and praying he didn't notice.
He looked at my schedule in my hand and said "Hey, we had a class earlier together and didn't notice. We also have have the next two together. Would you like to walk with me, Emma Gates?"
Before I could respond he looped his arm through mine and walked with me anyway. We were laughing and giggling.
This school might not be so bad.
